Akif came to my rescue when I needed FOOD!!! The half grilled chicken was the best meal I had in Lomé. But I was given raw pepper when I asked for spice.

Halal and good

The owner of the resturant is Lebanese, they offer Halal food, the quality of the food is very good compared to other restaurants in Lome, and it is not expensive. The menu includes Shawerma, Grilled chicken, Pizza (not very good), burger...etc.

Unenthusiastic service

An open air fast food restaurant right by the road. Service is very slow and unenthusiastic. There's outside seating under lots of overhead fans and an indoor seating area. The shawarma was good but could've been better with some vegetables inside. Just potatoes and chicken For less than $2 it's value for money. It was brought immediately coz they're pre-prepared. They also have other fast food types like grilled chicken and chips for $5 which is like the most expensive single meal on the menu.

New Look! 2 Nice Locations!!

The outside fast food place has changed it's look for the better! I am thoroughly surprised and happy with the new changes and quality of food along with the people. The time is now 23:39 and as you can see it does not look as if they are shutting down any time soon! You're welcome to join us for great food in an awesome atmosphere!!

Where you go when hungry late night.

This is where you want to go when hungry late at night. Burgers are with everything. So if you don't want fried egg, chips and, and etc between the bread with your burger - you better tell them. Then when you have your burger as it should be - its ok, almost good.

Local fast food joint

Akif is known for its Lebanese fast food joint. I enjoyed the shawama (vegi), £salad and vegi burger.... Everything was tasty and very reasonable.

Tasty inexpensive sharwama

The best part of this restaurant is the fact that they close at 4am! My friend and I took a stroll at almost 2am, we got hungry and they came to the rescue. Our sharwama didn't take up to 10mins to get ready, there was a waiter that speaks English and the sharwama wasn't pricey at all. Tastes delish as well and we were sure we got more than a good deal.

Sometimes you just need fast-food Lebanese

Because why not? It's fast and cheap and often doesn't make you sick afterwards. Celiacs: nothing seemed safe on the fast-food line, but easy to order a plate of hummus and vegetables and meat that was totally fine. Just had to wait about ten minutes extra. Price was good.

Cheap food on the run

Very inexpensive (1000 CFA) chicken or beef schwarma wraps at this open air diner. Burgers, hummus and pita were alright as well. Nothing exceptional, but the best fast food we found which would not induce Togo-belly. Service was prompt and the wraps & burgers make for good takeaway.

Good fast food...

Food & Staff are nice, but the kid who sits in the counter needs to smile... Used to visit at least once on all my visits. Pretty decent food, no alcohol/beer served. If you are looking for a takeaway...its sure worth a try and pick a couple of Eku the local beer on the way back....cheers
