We went to this restaurant for our last evening in Namibia and came with high expectations that were unfortunately disappointed. The location is quite nice with a great view over the city. The menu sounds lovely, the food itself is not. Some of it was almost not spiced, some of it was totally oversalted. The portions were way to big... More

This restaurant is adjacent to the Hotel Heinitzburg. There is an extensive terrace outside to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and watch the sun go down. In the colder evenings blankets are thoughtfully provided. The menu list a good variety of dishes of meat and fish. The scallops were very tasty and the grilled monkfish splendid. There is a good wine... More

We attended the hotel for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Staff are very efficient and friendly. You can see the Germanic efficiency a mile away, and the training which has gone into the staff has paid off. Well done. The only down-side is that the food is extremely expensive - indeed more expensive than many of the... More

The restaurant is located at the hotel Heinitzburg which is located on a hill which provides wonderful views of the city. It is not a big restaurant, so reservations are probably recommended. The food was very good as was the service. the do have an extensive drink menu as well. The springbok was delicious and I loved their tai eon... More

This is possibly one of the best sunset views in the city. And the city lights after sunset were beautiful too. The food is exceptionally well crafted in fine dining style. Waitrons were attentive. Wine list is very comprehensive. Ask for a seat as close to the edge as possible for the best views. Making a reservation if you aren't... More

This is a great place. They need to advertise more because they are their own best kept secret. THe service is great, the wine cellar fantastic and the apps, sides and mains are very creative, well presented and delicious to the palette. We have been here several times and each time was a delight. All the food is delicious but... More

The restaurant is elegant in decor and a nice location. We had the set menu and it was really good, interesting dishes - from a flavour and visual point of view. The wait staff of which there was many did not quite match the elegance of the food or the decor. At one point there were 2 standing in the... More

Belongs to the great Heinitzburg Hotel. Only few tables and served by attentive staff – they knew we were on our honeymoon and decorated our table with rose petals! Vast wine list (probably unique in Namibia). We went for the recommended menu which included a very flavorful springbok consommé and eland tenderloin which was fantastic. The dessert, a plate with...
