Spent 3-4 hour there with another couple, great wine, bucketloads of the best prawn you can imagine - shared with good friends the evening was over all too quickly.

Kubata has become my favourite place for dinner in Windhoek because the staff always does the extra mile to keep you happy, the Portuguese menu is varied with options & I love the setting on the balcony.

We like going to Kubata for their seafood and was never disappointed in terms of service and food, but I must say it has not lived up to it's previous standards.

I think the new management of Kubata has done an excellent job cleaning up the place and beefing up the menu... you can order anything from the menu and they will almost always have it.

First time we've been there was 2013 while driving by. And we were surprised by delicious food and very friendly staff. So we went there this time because we knew it'd be great - and it was. It's not too expensive and very lekker. One can't make a mistake by stopping by. Especially not for the game meat meals they... More

Just had a most magnificent meal out here. The steenbras was tasty and very nicely done. Washed down with Hansa Draught and I gets the impression it won't be my last visit. Definitely worth coming through on the next trip to Windhoek. 5 star.

What a nice Portuguese restaurant that i highly recommend. It is pricey but then again i had normal, queen and tiger giant prawns. The food is excellent and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is pleasant. This is a good restaurant for business lunches or even dinners.
