This restaurant is well known for serving the best piri piri chicken in Maputo & deservedly so .The place is nearly always full . Basic simple tables and chairs inside and out on the pavement ( al fresco) although the hawkers outside can be a nuisance . They also do take aways.

The owner was rude. The items were gorgeous. Definitely worth visiting. Don't try to haggle here. Instead of saying we don't negotiate prices the owner gets angry. I only purchased postcards instead of the intended purses because he was so rude. I suggest you go to the market in the park. It may be a bit intimidating but the people... More

I liked the friendly and fast staff. I ate my dinner here for the five days I was in Maputo. Great place!

I ate here twice, and the food was great each time. Once I had metapa with crab -- very delicious, but thank goodness I was wearing a green shirt! Another time I had grilled fish, and that was very fresh fish, grilled perfectly and served with a delicious mix of veggies. Service was very good, but it is a very... More

Had supper here the night of the big storm. Even though all tables and chairs outside was blown away, the service inside continued in a professional manner. Had some local Crab Matata and chicken. Both very tasty, crab a bit on the sparse side. Ice cold beer on tap.

Eating here made me very happy, the food is great and I left feeling very content. The service is prompt and friendly and there is a good atmosphere with a nice mix of locals and ex pats.

The piripiri frango was soft and juicy...but the star of the meal was the matapa curry, the 'de facto' national dish of Mozambique. Creamy, fragrant, with lots of crab meat.

This restaurant serves chicken which is reasonably good but the highlight at this restaurant is really the draft beer which is always perfectly cool and without a doubt the best in town

Great bacalhao grilled to a superb degree of taste. Super miam matata with crabs and best home made fries in Maputo
