After a tough week we went for a drink a Lambic. The atmosphere is great and the beer is even better. They stock the best beers from Flying Dodo which is a local micro brewery. Service was great. This is definitely a local spot. Great decor with beautiful trees and pleasant environment. Pleased to see that they had two vegetarian... More

Big variety of beer, even they have their special Flying Dodo which I recommend to try. Dishes are ok, but not something special.

Nice place. Tons of imported beers. A bit pricey. Good service, good food. Calm and quiet place too. I do go there regularly.

Went for happy hour which is 5-7. Had a Belgian white lambic featured which was good though I started with Lindeman's Kierk which is cherry flavored. I would've preferred the framboise but they didn't have it so changed to the blond. Sat on their patio and had a nicely spiced hamburger with beautifully prepared pomme frites with a cheese sauce... Thoroughly recommend this bar, an oasis of beer based calm. Great food at very reasonable prices, be careful if you are a light eater the portions are exceedingly generous, including the "tapas". We dropped in on recommendation with a plan to move on, didn't happen, when you find a gaff this good you stay! The others will still be there... More

The only good reason to be there is only because of the huge variety of beers available still would enjoy if they get some more varieties lol. Lets say the vintage style of the building and atmosphere is nice as well but the management need to consider few changes and hire more and proper staffs.

I stayed in port louis for about 5 years. We've been here like 100 times. They short of food, some things in menu may not be available but they have plenty of beers. If you don't drink then don't go. Good service. Only negative is the food, we found was too expensive and was not upto the par with price.... More

Beer pub atmosphere, with beers from the world lining the walls. Service was good. We ordered the calamari appetizer, good size portion for 3 to share. It was delicious, not greasy and great dipping sauce. Beef salad with egg, cabbage, etc. was huge, enough for 3-4 people to share before their main. For main had the beer battered fish and... More

This must be the pits for restaurants considered no.1. There is nothing much to say... Bruno the chef was helpful but he is not chef class. One cannot make a silk purse from a sows ear so pasta that is rubbery and chips underdone and so much of the menu not available! The service was poor with not much life... More

Visited this place after a busy day in Port Louis and immediately felt relaxed. Its an very old house which was transformed into a very nice restaurant. They also have many seats in the garden under Mango trees. I liked the food and especially the variety of international beers, tried 3 and found a new favorite. Will come back!
