A lovely cafe situated in area 43. Jean is an amazing chef and I particularly love the soy chicken wraps 😊 it's a beautiful Cape Dutch inspired coffee shop with plenty of flair. The waiters are excellent, something that is very rare to find in Malawi. Highly recommended.

I find my self at great restraint writing this review, or better a review of a review, any one who's been to lark can honestly say that the court yard area is by far any persons definition of a prison yard..... and if so then it must be in a country where stupidity is the crime......

The food is delicious and the new location is cute, but under construction, so it's not at it's best shape BUT!!! The waiters serve others at a quicker, faster pace than I've ever received. And when I mean others, I mean caucasians(WHITES). I am Malawian and I have to wait for about 15minutes before a waiter notices or even attends... More

Honestly Judith .. I am shocked at the level you have taking this 'issue' - (first on our Facebook page, then to our company email, and now on Tripadviser - surely just one of these would have been sufficient? To publicly slur us and make false accusations regarding racism is of great concern. The caucasian person who you allege was... More

Lark has moved to its new premises in Area 43, just past the equally poor Latitude 13, which it shares with Central African Wilderness Safaris. At its previous location, although terribly overpriced, Lark did have a great setting. It's new setting though finds you sitting, if you can't get one of the two seats overlooking the lawn, in what can... More

Please Sir, could you specify which prison courtyard our Cafe resembles, as I would like to sincerely congratulate them on creating such a pretty, serene surrounding with such attention to detail for their inmates. Perhaps you are not aware that we are in the middle of Malawi's rainy season, hence there being only 2 picnic benches on the lawn. I... More

Although this is an expat family haven, the food really is delicious. I would go on a weekday afternoon, sit outside, and enjoy a wrap and salad with a friend. One of the best dates I went on with my significant other here because of the delicious food and peaceful ambience. I heard weekends are much different, though.

This is a great place to go for casual business lunches and/or coffee. It's also great for family lunches on the weekend (they are only open on Saturdays- a shame since they'd get sooo much business on Sundays!), as there is a kids menu and playground.

Their food is really good, and this is definitely a hot spot for lunch in Lilongwe. They only take cash, so make sure you have enough for one of their delicious salads!

Have enjoyed salads here, food tastes fresh and is served in decent time (not a given in LLW). Currently relocating to Area 43 (last day of trade at Ulendo Safaris was 30 July 2016).

Not far from us, a really nice place for brunch. The menu is lovely, everything we ordered is yummy, love the garden view with a tiny children playground. There are some shops inside the building, so you can take a look around, then enjoy the food and view, good place for weekends.
