Sucetts used to be one of our favourite restaurants - a good menu, friendly welcome and unpretentious, well cooked food. However we have now been disappointed a couple of times - food standards have fallen and although the prices remain reasonable, we no longer enjoy the time we spend there

Large choice of malagasy and creole food, very friendly and helpful staff definitively a must-go in Tana.

Great atmosphere and friendly owners. The food was delicious - a good range of malagasy, french and creole. The dips at the start of the meal are a highlight.

This restaurant was recommended in both my Brandt guide and my friends Lonely Planet and it was deservedly so. There was a great vegetarian choice, the food was absolutely delicious. Before the meal we were brought a selection of home made sauces and dips plus two baskets of bread on the house, and they were amazing (the peanut dip is... More

This was our first meal on our trip to Madagascar and proved to be a great introduction to Malagasy (and Creole) food. The huge array of complementary dips that turned up at first made a great starter and the main dishes were substantial and tasty - we particularly enjoyed the Romazava with its unusually tingly vegetable. We returned there for... More

There were no regrets about choosing this restaurant when our first choice was too busy; the duck with vanilla sauce was exceptional!

Chez Sucett's gets the basics right: very good food, good wine, nice atmosphere all in a down-to-earth, unpretentious package. I much prefer it to the overly trendy competitors (Kudeta and Rossini) just around the corner, where the food is not as good, the prices higher, and the clientele more obnoxious. At Succett's, you"ll enjoy a French bistro style establishment with... More

We enjoyed our dinner so much that we went there twice. The meal was delicious and the staff very friendly. Try their zebu - it is excellent!

We had lunch there, both ordering Malagasy food, and it was excellent. I even managed to have a vegetarian meal - not that easy (cassava leaves in a coconut sauce, with rice). Service very good. The restaurant itself was a bit gloomy, but the food more than compensated.
