the place is nice traditional. not recommended for families with young kids, especially for busy days. over all the food taste is great, especially prawns and calamari.

Visited in a business company of five people and was recommended to try the locally sourced trout that was fried dry and accompanied by quite ordinary vegetables. Nothing to write home about.
Meal was good, reasonable pricing, slow service, rustic setting Do not expect fine dining, basic good food.
Having dinner at Piri Piri was disapointing. It is suppose to be Portugese cuisine but seemingly has been diluted over the years to just an imitation of Portuguese food. Trinchado was not trinchado. Just pieces of steak with a brown sauce.
the atmosphere is great especially in summer. the food is good and in winter they have heaters for people who would like to use the out door tables.
This restaurant is great for socialising and relaxing. The food comes in good portions and it is very tasty. You can purchase alcoholic drinks. Waiters are friendly. Outside dining available. Ample parking. Very popular busy restaurant.
Nothing except for olives for vegetarians on the night I went (there's sometimes pizza), but overall a good experience with nice wine and friendly staff in a convenient location.
