Regal Restaurant Regal Restaurant Kingsway, Basotho Hat Complex, Maseru 100, Lesotho Excellent last travel on April 2019

I came back in July 2017 had a lovely meal. This time round again the food was very good unfortunately we all had our food a different times. All 6 of as had our plates of food at very disappointing different time , not talking...about 1-2 minutes apart more like 6-10 minutes apart. It really felt like the chef was cooking one dish at a time. The good thing is he or she started with the lamb chops first ,because we would of finished by time the Chops had come!! At over R700 for this slow ridiculous service we shall never return. Shame really tasty food thank god!! When I did mention it when we were leaving the waiter was mumbling ehh ok, really.!! I would mind so much but it wasn’t even busy us 6 and x 2 tables of 2 people.More

It is a good option for Maseru. There is a nice terrace outside. The food and specially the samosas are delicious, but maybe too hot. However, I recommend it.

This restaurant is located upstairs in the “Basuto Hat” complex. The tables and décor are excellent as is the food. Like most things in Lesotho the food is also reasonable priced; around ½ to 2/3 what I would pay in the UK for a similar...meal. The Goan fish curry was really good; they also have an excellent draft Maluti beer to accompany it!More

Searching for Indian food after 4 days ago travel from India to South Africa to Lesotho landed us on this place. It is not fabilicious Indian food but not bad for Indian food. It's decent enough and worth the buck for Indian food. Biryani wasn't...great but Dal makhani, sag paneer, Chapatti, jeera rice and lassi were goooood . Would definitely go there again.More

We stopped off for some refreshments here before crossing the border. The staff were great and parking across the road seemed relatively secure. Food looked good if you’re thinking of eating here.

This was probably the worst meal I have had in years! I ordered a lamb rogan gosh dish, which arrived, very unappealing, with a pale insipid colour, and no taste whatsoever. I sent it back, and it was apparently remade. This time the dish was...even worse. I didn't think it could go from tasteless to unbelievably bland. I ordered it mild, but there was no taste whatsoever. From being a great restaurant when I was last there, to this is rather sad.More

Gross bowl of oil instead of saag paneer, food took more than 35 minutes, my starter never showed. They were very nice and called me a taxi.
