This is like a canteen style restaurant. It is local Ghanaian food. It seems to be quite popular among locals, but i was not impressed. There was a lot of soups on the menu. The service was quick. The goat meat soap did not smell so good, i could not eat it. However, my friend seemed to enjoy her tilapia.... More

I have been here 3 times I guess. Nice and tasty local food for a good price. The seating and environment like a cafeteria - but after all the waiter will take your order at the table and also serve it. One time the chicken tasted old.

Came here with some friends to introduce the local cuisine. What a varied selection. Quick service also. The best of the dishes was fried fish with boiled plantain and palava sauce. So delicious and will be back for more.

This restaurant is a brisk 7 minute walk from Oxford Street in Osu but worth the trip. The cuisine is authentically and mouthwateringly Ghanaian. There's so much variety that you have a chance to try anything you've heard of about Ghanaian food and always wanted to eat. The restaurant sitting area is large, clean and airy. The staff are friendly... More

i love the setting at asanka delight but the food is poor especially the fufu. you would usually find lumps or what we call in twi "aba' in the fufu. i think the should take time to prepare the dish and not let the inflow of customers affect the quality of the food. any way since then i really don't... I was taken to Asanka Local on the first occasion on a Tuesday as I wanted to experience a proper local place with good food. We stood at the counter and I chose banku and okro stew/ soup which was well done and tasty. My companions dishes were equally good . The service was good and the prices very reasonable.... More

Came today and we had goat, fried tilapia and chicken with chips. Larges beers and other drink which came to 110 cedis. Took a while for the food to come but it was fine as we were not in a rush. Definitely a good place to try Ghanaian specialities.
