Good coffee, oldest coffee stand in Addis was what we were led to believe. Very great local feel. Older men are the baristas, no chairs, you stand at counters! Def not Starbucks! Thankfully!! They roast small batches of beans on site, smells great just walking into their store! I understand they've built a new coffee place across town. I'm glad... More

The original Tomoca in piazza area has been around for several decades, and they recently started to expand by branching out into other neighbourhoods. They serve one of the best coffee in Addis... and they sell this amazing coffee if you want to make it at home.

The place has been around for more than 50 years. if u are around Piassa and you want to have a cup of coffee or if you want to buy the roasted coffee it is the best place to go to.

Tomoco is a nice relaxing coffee chop which brings you the genuine experience. Well worth a visit, especially those visiting Addis for the first time.

Stopped here for a quick macciato one morning. Good quality coffee in a friendly coffee bar. Plenty of tables both in the coffee bar area and also across the floor on a raised platform. Mix of tourists, young business people and expats were enjoying the coffee.

Tomoca is a no-frills cafe with indifferent service, a few tables where you stand to drink your coffee & plenty of atmosphere. You can buy vacuum sealed coffee to take home, either ground or beans, which is quite pricey compared to other places we bought coffee from in Ethiopia, but still cheap compared to what you'd pay for Ethiopian coffee... I fill my suitcase with as much Tomoca coffee as I can every time I am in Addis. This is very dark, strong coffee and I obsessed with it! The grind the coffee right there and you can also but unground beans.

When I am in Addis, Tomoca is a must. This particular shop is next to a very good chain restaurant for local food, so we take coffee afterwatrds and I always buy a few kg to take home. Never have been disappointed.

Best Macchiato ever! They actually grind the coffee there. Erhiopia is known for their coffee, and this place is known for the Italian version of coffee, since the Italians were there for a few years, Rhus the Italian name, Tomoca. On my next trip to Addis, this will be my first stop!!
