We wanted to try some wild game but did not want to go to the touristy circus at the Boma. This was a good choice. We had Kudu Wellington, Ostrich Filet, Warthog Pork Belly and all were good. Presentation was solid and while service was a little slow, not out of the ordinary for our Zimbabwe experience.

Romantic place with good food, nice service, good wine, had a beautifull candle light dinner to end our trip in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibië. We had a great dinner with real African food.

This is a beautiful restaurant which is welcoming and attentive. The service is excellent and during our stay at the Ilala lodge we ate there every night. Food was fabulous, a great selection which catered for all members of our party, though the chick pea curry was the highlight!! amazing tastes, and portions just right. Couldn't fault it and would... Dined here daily for lunch and three dinners during our four night stay at Ilala lodge. Lunches are modern, smaller size portions perfect for summer and seasoned travellers. Dinner is fine dining Zimbabwe style with a variety of game meats used in imaginative and appealing ways. The crocodile meat balls were a tasty introduction to this meat. Waiting staff are... More

I stayed at this beautiful resort and can't say enough about it, but this review is about the the restaurant. It has a beautiful ambiance , where you can sit outside and see elephants, giraffe, wild boar pass by! Staff is ingratiating, and have no problem with special requests! Quite reasonable too. Food excellent! Enjoy..:-)

It could easily be considered the nicest restaurant in town: everything is prepared and served excellently -every and each plate is carefully designed-, food is delicious (try the crocodile risotto!) and service is fast and nice.

Best meal we had all week. First visit was good but our last meal in Vic Falls was superb. Very warm welcome, all 4 of us agreed it was our best meal all week. I had ostrich with a chilli chocolate sauce.....fantastic. Lovely setting, great service

Palm restaurant is a great place to have dinner, reasonably priced for what you get along with good service. I had the warthog it was very good and tasty, friends had the ostrich and kudu wellington they were very happy with their meal. I am looking forward to visiting again.

Sadly we didn't stay here as I'd guess it was far superior than the more expensive lodge we stayed at. But we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Ilala and judging from the design, decor, atmosphere, service and food, a stay here would be super.

I went to this restaurant because I had been told they served game meat. I was surprised and pleased to discover such a beautiful restaurant with fine dining. I started with quail stuffed with mushrooms and pork, served with a blueberry sauce. My entree was Kudu Wellington. Both dishes were exquisitely plated and delicious.
