Café the Paris stands still in tie. Great to take a seat on the terras and watch the city go by at the end off the day. But also a great to start with breakfast and start your tour through Tanger.

This is one of the oldest cafes in Tangier. It is located near to the French consulate in the middle of the city. The view is nice if you stay outside. The drinks are ok. Other than that, it's just a cafe where some tourists mingle with the locals.

This the domain of the coffee sipping, contemplating, chess playing older men of Tangier. There aren't many local women there, meaning it takes a little courage to walk in and sit down as a tourist, but once you're in you can make your home there for hours. Although the street outside the cafe is lined with outwards facing chairs, personally,... More

To complete my visit of Tangiers, al fresco tea at the Grand Cafe de Paris! Stay and get a front seat view of life in the city. Cross the street to the French Consulate for a view of the old grand cafe. The waiter gave me a grin. He probably knew I wasn't there for the tea (but it was... More

We just had to visit this cafe with all its history. Live yourself into a james bond or jason bourne movie and just watch the traffic and people go by. Very friendly and welcoming staff and inexpensive coffee. Highly recommend!

We visited this cafe more to experience the history of it. It holds a rather interesting history if you are familiar with international espionage. If you are just looking for a nice place to have some tea or coffee, it also serves this purpose well. Sitting outside offers a nice vantage point to people watch, but if the weather is... More

a great place to meet people as its well known by taxis, and actually on a main road so good access . A remnant of French colonialism, next to french embassy and cultural center. Its essentially a well known cafe serving Tea and Coffee, juices and very simple food. It has seen better days, and like most cafes in North... More

After visiting souk of Tangier, I took a street rising up to new city, to get to main boulevard Pasteur with many shops and cafes and I get to Place de France. Opposite the French consulate there is a Grand Café de Paris. Grand Café de Paris in Tangier is widely regarded as one of the most famous of the... More

We were taken here by a friend who lives in Tangiers and enjoyed the atmosphere and décor. I loved their mint tea. Well worth a visit just to watch the world go by.
