Went as a group. Wonderful dishes. I was happy that they do more than just seafood. I enjoyed a great Moroccan dish and a steak while my friends enjoyed their fish selections. Beautiful view across to Rabat, too. Try a Moroccan wine. We were pleasantly surprised.

I went to this restaurant for a business lunch as it was highly suggested by our colleagues in Rabat. The location of the restaurant is absolutely phenomenal! Near what seems like a yacht harbour and in quite an upscale neighbourhood of Rabat, the setting is definitely fine dining and it does attract a wealthy crowd! The food, however, leaves a... More

I smell a rat in many poor reviews of the restaurants in Rabat! This place was without a doubt the best we visited and I would epect it to be in the top 10. To have so many low ratings was quite ridiculous. The service was perfect - knowledgable, helpful, attentive without being officious. Both the seafood menu and the... More

Great seafood in al Marsa, the Octopus and Tuna plates were ones of the best.. Good selection of wines.. Better to have reservation as the place was almost full even on a Monday night

+ Excellent Spanish food + Professional service + Very nice view on the Bouregreg river and Hassan Tower - Booking is mandatory (we happened to visit the restaurant with no prior booking, but the manager was very nice and asked the staff to prepare a table for us) Tips: book a table with a view on the river

The best and finest seafood restaurant in Rabat. You can't have enough of their dishes. The restaurant is on the river Bouregreg across form Rabat (in Salé) and the view from the restaurant is breathtalking. Book a table on the terrace overlooking the riverside.

Seafood specialty, of course. Very heavy Spanish/Italian influence. Well worth the trip. A surprisingly impressive selection of wines to complement your meal. Easily could be a higher rating...presentation was excellent..however, the food gave me the impression that the chef was "playing it safe" and not exploring the full potential of the meal.

Just hours after arriving in Rabat, my host asked if I would like to have lunch at a "seafood restaurant." Certainly, and off we went. Al Marsa is tucked away in a lovely marina area. Nothing special from the outside. Clearly, this venue is not self-absorbed and overly focused on the physical structure. Certainly nice, clean but not some monument... More

Visited the Spanish restaurant in the summer for a delicious fish meal and have just visited the twin restaurant for a sumptuous Italian. The grilled steak was meltingly soft and presented beautifully. Service was commendable and delivered with a smile. Its a great location for either the day or evening as you have a view over the busy estuary and... More

This was my 3rd visit to Al Marsa. My two earlier visits left very good taste so naturally I was very happy that my host offered it as our place for dinner. We were a party of six and we decided to share our first courses by ordering Tapas, and after that each will have his own main course. The... More
