First thing first - this is a home-restaurant, when you are visiting, you are actually at someones home. This is amazing opportunity to see how actually moroccan families live and cook. Some complains about waiting time and there is an explanation - as this is a home-restaurant, they actually do not stock food for cooking. When you make your order,... More

Been there because recommended in our lonely planet -maybe not updated?!?! Unfortunately after a long wait - though we were the only customers - both meals, chicken tajine and kefta - were tasteless and dry. Restaurant looks oldish and a bit dusty, we were doubtful to enter there actually, and prices are not cheaper than elsewhere. Definitively better option to... More

To be honest- i don't know where to start. We had to wait over an hour in the icecold livingroom to get our food. We asked for some heating, but this was so weak, that it stayed cold all the time. Then the food was extremely bad: the vegetarian couscous had no seasoning at all -except salt and this way... More

We had a delicious lunch of kebabs and salad in this family's charming home. The food was deliciously, and quickly prepared for us. There were no other customers in the place. It was a treat to have a private meal.

The food was delicious. The couscous with grapes and cinnamon was really outstanding. Would definetely go back only for the couscous. :)

This restaurant is actually the home of a real Moroccan family. It definitely has character and the owners seem to care. When you order, the owners will go to the market, buy your food and cook it. It can't be any fresher than that, but as a result it can take a long time between ordering and being served. My... More

The location was ok, the service friendly but we had to wait over 1 1/2 houer without any coments of the waiter. For two dishes I paid more than 250 Diram which was over the value was i expected for the price. The chicken was dry and thready withoud any flaovour. I didnt finished my meal. It was worst and... The kefta (small meatballs) were delicious. I was not very hungry until I was given the chicken and fig tagine. I had asked for apricots but they suggested figs as they were fresh. Finger licking good :). Very friendly family. We asked about the cd playing and they even went out to the market to get it for us. A... More

Long waiting time for a good-average food. You pay touristic price because it appears in guides. Look for other small places where you can find also homemade food at a normal price.

You have to wait a little long for the food, but the taste is verry good. Good price / quality. Best place I think in meknes.
