Not cheap but really really good - Pepe Nero and Le Foundouk are the 2 best restaurants we tried in Marrakech (and we have tried many). Go for the tanjia (not tanjine). Reserve table the day in good time

Omg this place. From where to start. The atmosphere? How warm and quiet it is? How amazing the food was? It was our first night. I want to say we have been charmed by morocco at once. But after the duck and the Creme brûlée...More

Difficult to find - but well worth it. The service was good, and the atmosphere relaxed but stylish. The salmon tartar was wonderfully seasoned and the pasta was very good as well. My husband and I wanted different wines, and they had several options of...More

Unfriendly welcome after awkwardly wondering in looking for a host. Seated in corner of small back room with damp walls where paint was falling off which is now all over the bottom of my handbag. My view was a wall!! Boring waiter-forgot to give us drinks...More

Loved the menu for both italian and morrocan food. The service was great, the food was delicious, and drinks were tasty. Would definitely recommend. It is a little hard to find, but they had signs that made it easier!

Suggest Maison Arabe - 3 different restaurants - all good! But on other side of Medina. Fun to eat in the bar - there you can order items from all menus, I believe.

Description
PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.
