My husband and I had a reservation to eat here, when we arrived however the restaurant was closed! We had left our contact details when making our reservation but they had never contacted us to let us know they would not be opening that evening. When we got there we knocked and rang the bell several times, then a man... More

I had made a reservation at Pepe Nero for this evening about two weeks ago. Naturally, as we only have 3 nights in Marrakech, we were looking forward to the evening. When we got to the restaurant, along with other people who had reserved, we were left ringing the doorbell for a few minutes before someone above to shout we... More

Surprising spot in old city. Excellent decoration. Quiet, peaceful, excellent service by very professional and cozy service. Excellent local cuisine and also a good Italian menu to accommodate all tastes. So good that we went to Pepe Nero three consecutive nights.

An oasis of calm amongst the madness of Marrakech. Amazing food in a great setting. I recommend the aubergine parmigiana or the salmon tartar, the king prawn risotto and the chocolate pudding!

Found this restaurant on trip advisor. Off the beaten track it directions emailed from restaurant were perfect. Typical simple door which opens up into an oasis within! Great setting. Staff were lovely. Two options on the menu, Italian and Moroccan. We as a family had a mix from both menus. Food was very good as were the cocktails.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Beautiful decor. We had drinks - a free prosecco and juice - by the pool and then moved to a different part, with white table cloths, for our meal. Attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food. It seemed to be a while to get the desert menus and then suddenly the lights went out... More

Pepe Nero is hidden away down narrow alleyways that look very scary (they're not!). There are lots of signposts to it, keep following them even when they look like there's nothing there as it's at the very end on an alleyway with a not very obvious door. Inside it is beautiful, there are outside areas in the courtyard with a... More

We had a wonderful dinner at Pepe Nero. A short walk from our Riad - this equally impressive Riad was a wonderful haven with excellent food. Thoroughly recommend it

Description
PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.
