We picked this restaurant based on it's location to watch the sunset and watch day turn into night over the main square. We were greeted very warmly and the high level of service and hospitality continued throughout the meal. Our waiter even got more tagine sauce when asked. Great views, good food and fantastic service.

El Waha is magnificently located overlooking the Jemaa el Fna and eating on the terrace at sunset is a great experience. The service is friendly and the food reasonable: we certainly enjoyed our visit, but found better places, although the view is nigh unbeatable.

This was definitely our favourite restaurant around the Jemaa el Fna. From the terrace you have an amazing view at the square. You can enjoy a relaxing evening in this restaurant. The waiter is very friendly and the prices are very good. I surely recommend this restaurant.

The best time to visit is sunset! It was breathtakingly beautiful to see the sun set over the Jemaa el Fna with a nice cup of mint tea with out meal on the terrace. I ordered a tangia with egg, but they gave me one with olives (but it was still really good)!

We visited this little Cafe almost every day of our trip and availed of the roof top terrace with unrivalled views of Jemaa El Fna square. The terrace has tables both in the sun and the shade so offers the perfect getaway from the hot hot sun! We usually got a mint tea each which was cheap and we found... More

We three decided to try the third cheap restaurant in the corner of the square. We had got up late and take our time in the hotel to leave for a lunch at2pm on Wednesday. It looks like a pale yello London bus from a distance, visible from our Hotel Medina terrace The menu looked interesting so we ascended the... More

the food is pretty good. of course you wont find frites the same way they are made in belgium for example but this might be due to the fact that marrakech is not in belgium. the waiters are super friendly and helpful and the guy who advertises in front of the restaurant isnt forcing it on you like most of... Both tajine and couscous were very tasty and reasonably priced. The service was professional and we have not experienced any kind of pressure/aggressive marketing or . The fact that you usually get your drinks together with the food (if ordered simultaneously) is rather common in Morocco. I would definitely recommend El Waha for dinner. For best experience, check the availability... More

I was spying on the best location to get top views of the square, and after deliberation, decided this was going to be the best spot. Going up the narrow stairs, I was ushered to the top, skipping a very loud 1st floor where everyone was watching football. Unfortunately, all the front spots were taken, and I was stuck in... More

Very good position overlooking the square. The lamb and fig tagine is great. Prices are reasonable. Unfortunately it is difficult to leave without being pressured into a "conversation" about Berber spices. If you leave without buying spices there is a lot of bad feeling and emotional protests.
