My wife and I found the food to be exceptional. Ok, maybe a little over priced by Fes standards, but apart from that very good. We loved the atmosphere and found it to be beautiful. Service was friendly and always there. I don't understand some of the bad reviews because we loved it!

Do not go here. Food is very over priced and of sub par quality. There is also a service fee surprise when you get the bill. Very disappointed in our guide as he raved about it on the way there.

True you might not find this place without a guide but well worth it! We told the owner we wanted an assortment of vegetarian salads-never gave us a menu and next our table was beautifully plated! Every dish with wonderful flavors!

Gorgeous setting - palatial! And so unexpected on a side street off of the main road. It was quite an adventure. Very thankful to the guide who showed me into the restaurant! I had Moroccan salad and basilla (vegetarian) and it was a wonderful, flavorful, fragrant treat. And it was lots of food!!!

An oasis at the Fes market, an excellent choice. Wonderful vegetables and Moroccan food, tasteful, not very spicy. Turkish coffee was also good.

Mixed Moroccan salads were plentiful and tasty. Chicken & Lamb couscous were large but not a lot of protein. The desert of sliced oranges & bananas with a sprinkling of cinnamon was fresh. 130 dirham each with a drink was comparatively expensive. The place was full of fellow tourists with nota local to be seen. Clean toilets & a refuge... More

This is a tourist scam. Your guide will bring you here; you won't be presented with a menu unless you ask; the food will be mediocre; you'll pay 3 times the amount you'd pay elsewhere; you'll look around the restaurant and ONLY see tourists; you're guide will get a nice kickback; you'll leave a little annoyed. (If you're actually aware... More

Dined here for a leisurely lunch. Entrees and mains perfect. The coffee was good. I really liked the fresh pomegranate to finish. Fresh orange juice wonderful. Service very patient and friendly.

After a very interesting day touring the Medina, our guide took us to ASMAE for a late lunch. The atmosphere and service were amazing. Then we placed our order and the table magically filled up with a dozen different and tasty appetizers/salads and fresh Moroccan bread. This would be a perfect place to have a large group and try everything... More
