Try the Pastilla, the Moroccan salad, the brochettes .... Everything we ate was outstanding. The people watching was an added bonus!

The meal was just OK, nothing different than we have had, all just much the same. Host was a bit over the top and the drinks were warm, don't believe it warranted a higher rating it got on trip advisor. Any of the local operators in the area can give you much the same cuisine

Read about this place and love a good "mom and pop shop" feel to a restaurant and this place had it all. Stopped for a late lunch with no one else there. Owner was very friendly answering all our questions. The legumes given complimentary to start were fantastic and set the stage for the rest of the meal. Kefta tagine... More

Only open in the evening, the food is simple Maroc but hot and cheap. The best thing is that it's on a major transit street so sitting there watching the people pass by as they stream through the blue gate and into the city with Thami plying his trade to the tourists and the general interactions with the people; It's a... We enjoyed our vegetarian dish of couscous with vegetables, and our toddler enjoyed the friendly owner's endeavours to entertain her. It was a very pleasant lunch indeed.

We were trying to find this place, and still almost missed it. It is right in a corner between two other places. It only has 2 or three tables, and the only way I noticed it was by a trip advisor sign! We went back for the Kefka Tajine. Very tasty. The flies were driving me nuts, but they were... More

Simple but friendly and delicious, this little gem of a restaurant inside the medina is well worth seeking out and especially for the keftha tagine with egg that is delicious and probably the best one I've had in Morocco. The owner will show you his acclaim through reviews and it can appear a little hard sell perhaps, but it is... More

When you're deep in the Fes Medina, it can be hard to pick out the winners from the losers. But Thami's, with its sweet corner location and fresh ingredients, is clearly one of the best options. It was our first meal in Fes, and coincidentally enough, also the best tajine we had our entire two weeks in Morocco. The view... More

it's a touristy place, but the locals don't eat out much in Fes, too expensive compared with eating at home, so there are not many places that you can eat with the locals. Thami himself welcomes you, and keeps telling everyone the name of the place so you can write a review. Good food, just a little rich, like most... More

We ate at Thami`s twice during our stay and we loved it. The food is outstanding especially the kefta and the staff are really friendly. It is also a great place to people watch. The price also is very very good.
