Sometimes you only need friendly people, great service and a Moroccan salad to add to my list of favourites! This place has it all! Nothing posh but the genuine spirit of Fez.

We ate here 5 of the 6 days we were in Fez because you could not fault the food or service they start off with a free entee of mixed olives and dahl with crusty bread. Every meal we had was superb from the tagines to the couscous (Special couscous on Fridays). The coffee here is also superb.

We stopped here after a dodging several menu wielding people and were pleasantly surprised by the great food at low prices. There is an indoor area where mostly locals were watching television while the outdoor seating was used for drinking and dining. Would most likely eat here again if we weren't continueing our journey the next day.

I have been coming to the Fassi Restaurant to use the Wifi and drink only a Moroccan tea without sugar (really with no sugar at all) and stay a couple of hours. The wifi connection is great. I came then with a big group of friends and after that with my family. They have a great service, the food is... More

We must have passed this place dozens of times and had a drink here twice. We had grilled beef brochettes (skewers) and chips. Like many of the cafes in this part of Bou Jeloud they do not have a kitchen, the kitchen is elsewhere. The only thing made here is the tea and coffee. Food comes from another restaurant nearby.... This place was recommended by my riad. It looks like a tourist trap as the wait staff actively trying to promote the place to tourist only. But we were pleasantly surprised by the food and the prices of the meal. The pastilla is big and tasty! Do try it here. I realized subsequently that pastilla is not such a common... More

Ordered drinks and watched goings on. Tout was smoking cigarette as he tried to get more business. Did not get a very good feeling about proceeding with a meal at this place. Maybe it is unfair to prejudge quality of place from observing the tout, but you got to go on what you see.

Our riad recommended this restaurant. and we are really pleased. They serve free spiced green and dark olives, plus lentils with tomato sauce as courtesy. We drank green tea with mint (a must when in Morocco) at 10 MAD/1 EUR a glass. We ate PASTILLA (pastry filled onions, almonds, cinnamon and chicken). This dish is EXCELLENT and it was 60... More

In the area of the Medina you can find your self being dragged to the restaurants but not here. A gentle offer of a Menu, and polite word made us happy to enter. Sat on the corner we were able to people watch whilst enjoying and good meal at a very reason price. If we wanted more, we only had... More
