Nice small restaurant with a traditional homecooking kitchen. We had the pastilla and the couscous and both were very good.

Could not believe this place.... it was a one woman show. She was the waitress and chef and she did not even understand the menu. She had to call a friend on her phone who we would speak to and ask what we wanted to eat and then she would translate back to the chef. Food was not good and... More

The food is delicious, I won't argue that, but some really simple things are quite expensive in comparison to the normal price, for example Orange juice. If I remember correctly, they charged us 10 dirhams for it, even if the normal price is 4!

We trusted Lonely Planet, that most case gives guides and suggestions fitting our desire. This time, we were able to have a normal dinner (as the many restaurants around Meidan cafè) at a double price. Really disappointed

Had a lovely romantic dinner with my wife here. The food was delicious, especially the vegetarian main course ('Pastilla' with almonds instead of the traditional pigeon), and the starter 'Salades Marocaines' (a bunch of Moroccan mezze dishes). The service was quick and friendly and it had a real air of calm contrasting with the busy medina nearby. They also don't... More

During a week in Fes, we went to Medina Cafe at least 3 times for lunch and it was always delicious food and very authentic. It felt like home made food and a variation to the classical couscous and tagines that one gets at most classical Moroccan places. Proximity to the old part of medina without having to enter it... The food here is of a brilliant quality, and the atmosphere and service were great. We ate on the roof terrace, which was lovely in the evening. I had a chicken with preserved lemon which was lovely, and my wife had a veal dish which was also very nice. We also came here the last time we were in fes... More

This restaurant is just outside the Blue Gate. The host is wonderful and speaks passable English. We are vegetarian so our options tend to be limited. All the food around and in the medina is Moroccan. We had been eating tangine all week and was looking for something a bit different, but alas, they are all Moroccan food in the... More

Went here for dinner. Rather unclear which door was the actual entrance. Cold day, cold inside. Though that's case with a lot of restaurants. 3 options on the menu (2 drinks, 1 dessert) weren't available. Not many options but the food was incredibly tasty. Good value for money.
