Forget the spaghetti or ravioli with meat or marinara sauce type menus. Francesca's menu is a stand out. Unusual offerings which change often, sometimes daily. The food is superb, very fresh and the presentation makes the food look very appealing. They are also very good about special orders. Great service. You can't go wrong here. Enjoy!

We had a very nice Valentines Day dinner at Francesca's this past Tuesday. We made reservations through Open Table and arrived a little early. Our table was ready a little early and we were seated nicely. Our server did a nice job of taking care of us. He wasn't pushy and rushing us but did keep the meal moving. I... More

Our visit on Valentine's day was a lesson in extreme disappointment rescued by some marvelous redemption. Since it was also our 30th anniversary, my wife had called long ahead to see if they would be serving their version of Osso Buco, a dish her Grandmother often made on special occasions. When assured they would be, she made the reservation. When... More

Was with large group so had a prix fix menu. House salad is not something to spend money on. Heavy dressing, boring. Just lettuce, 3 pieces of cucumber, some carrots and 2 pieces of tomato. Sautéed tilapia with mushrooms and peppers and onions good but same as at home. Profiteroles with pistachio gelato good, tiramisu was better. Friend had the... More

Enjoyed good food and were allowed to visit without being rushed. Also, one of the few places in downtown Arlington Hts. with it's own parking lot if you get there early enough to find a spot before needing valet service.

Friendly Italian restaurant in the heart of the old town in Arlington Heights in the NW suburbs of Chicago. Last minute dinner with 4 work colleagues - the restaurant was surprisingly full for a Monday evening, but the maitre'd found us a nice quiet table adjacent to the bar area. Excellent menu with all the traditional Italian specialties that you... More

With so many terrific Italian restaurants in the Chicago area I wonder why anyone would choose this place. We started at the bar. Very limited selection of whisky combined with an unfriendly bartender. Not a great start. The service was very lackluster and slow. The menu was uninspired. The food was completely average. There is insufficient parking which you might... More

The staff, chefs and team at Francesca's made for a perfect birthday party. We used the back room, and they were so attentive and helpful! The food was fantastic, and a few special dietary requests were handled with grace and speed. I would highly recommend this restaurant; we'll be back next time we're in town!

We had our baby shower here for about 30 people here on a Saturday and couldn't have made a better choice. Our group had the back room which was very private, and while there was another large group in the restaurant the food still came out quickly and quality was great. The service was one of the best parts, we... More

On a Sunday, we hosted 30 family members for a set menu luncheon, and everyone was happy. We started with Caesar and mixed green salads, followed by rigatoni and vegetables and roasted salmon with morvegetables. The salmon was moist and the pasta, al dente. How perfect! Profiteroles and biscotti topped it off. We planned the event with Julie, and it... More
