Came here every morning during my time in Utila and it really is fantastic! Coffees and drinks are great, atmosphere is great, staff are lovely, food is fab and it is for a great cause. What more could you want?! Used to spend my mornings with a copy of National Geographic down at the seating area by the pier and... More

We came to Utila because of a couple that is associated with this Cafe. They manage a sister one in our home town and we learned of what they do. The profits go to educate Miskito Indian children along the Rio Coco in Northeastern Nicaragua. You can tell the quality of the place by the people that visit there. A... More

If you find yourself on the lovely island of Utila you would be remiss not to stop by Rio Coco for a cup of coffee and some of their delicious banana bread! I always struggle to find a good cup of regular old drip coffee when I travel outside the US so it was a welcome treat to find this... More

Nice place, but a bit messy! Cool staff! The menu was a little to simple, but if you like bacon and egg you could give it a go !! Feel free to find a nice spot under the palm tree, or have a pretty nice view over the sea

We had some really great time in Rio Coco Cafe, enjoying their smoothies, frozen limonades, cinnamon bun cake and banana bread ! The best part is their pier standing in the water when you can savour your little delicacies ! With their good wifi, their board games and the overall chill out atmosphere It's really easy to spend all your... More

I appreciate good coffee, and when I travel sometimes it is difficult to find places that sell good coffee. I was lucky to find Rio Coco Cafe during my visit to Utila, service was good also, didn't try the food but I bet is good as well. I would like them to have longer work hours, as I went looking... My friend and I would visit quite often to enjoy their tea, coffee, and icy treats. I loved the cinnamon buns and my friend loved the banana bread with chocolate chips. Best place to come and chill. Even play a board game or 2.

Rio Coco is the only place on the island to get good coffee. That's why I first went there. I returned a number of times because of the friendly atmosphere, tasty baked goods and the coffee too. It helps to be supporting a good cause.

Rio Coco is the perfect spot for good company and good coffee. The people who work here are always friendly and know how to make you feel like family. They also have a quite dock that you can sit and read. If your having a bad day, come to Rio Coco and they will turn your frown up side down.
