Our group consisted of 12 people and we ate there twice while out on tours. The Coleman family are wonderful people offering some of the best authentic local cuisines of the area. The lunch and dinner buffets are delicious with a great variety of foods to choose from at a very affordable price of 20 BZE ($10 USD) that includes... More

We only stopped because our hotel host had recommended that we look for their sign and stop. We are glad we did as eating their buffet in the jungle atmosphere and meeting Thomas and the wonderful Coleman family was one of the highlights of our visit to Belize. Don't miss this opportunity to spend some time with warm and wonderful... More

The lovely owners of Coleman's cafe saved our group five years ago at Easter when we could not find a restaurant open anywhere and they opened up to help us when no one else would. So we decided to revisit this time with just our family and they had made some very positive changes to the decor and built a... More

We were very happy to eat two lunches at Colemans while out on tours of the local area. Great selection of foods, plenty of meat, all perfectly cooked and served buffet style in a screened-in porch. Mr. and Mrs. Coleman have really figured out the formula for making weary and hungry travelers feel right at home, and they sent us... More

The restaurant only serves lunch, buffet style. But according to one of the owners they can prepare dinner if you make a reservation in advance. The food is clean and gives you a sampler of the belizean cuisine for a good price. The owners are very friendly and we felt welcome there. Great place to visit when you are in... More

This place had some of the best Belizean and Indian food ever, served buffet style. We tried a bit of everything. The chicken and beef were slow cooked and had outstanding flavor. This big surprise was the cahuna (not sure of the spelling) slaw, which turned out to be date palm hearts slowed cooked with some type of curry and... More

Real flavors prepared with love. This family owned restaurant is quite a little gem. The buffet style meal is great. All local all fresh, Chicken, Pork, Venison, then rice beans cahooh cabbage which was fantastic. we ate here 4 times as there is so much to do in the immediate area..

Great food and the friendliest owner/host/conversationist ever....well worth the stop. Must try the Cahuun slaw, it's to die for. Stop in for sure and don't forget to ask him for some home made ice cream and a souvenir from his gift shop.

My tour guide stopped at Coleman's Cafe on our way to tour the Maya Cacao Plantation and was very happy we did. There is a large sign on the road which makes it fairly easy to find. We arrived mid-morning just before the lunch crowd from the local village. The owners Perlene and Tom, met us at the entrance and... More

Some friends of mine who live in Placencia, Belize, turned me on to Colemans when we went to the Toledo District to swim in the Blue River Cave. This is about as authentically Belizean as it gets and is delicious. You serve yourself at the screened in buffet table and there's plenty to choose from: home made stewed chicken, pork... More
