This is a small site compared to some other Mayan ruins we saw but we found the time there to be interesting. Take a cab to get to it even though it is near San Ignacio because the road it steep.

View is definitely the selling feature on this hotel. Rooms and food were okay. No hot water in the room one morning, but the next morning no problem. The hill getting up to the resort makes it hard to walk locally down into San Ignacio without a taxi ride. This same hill also gives you the spectacular view everyone talks... More

My family spent a few nights in one of the bungalows. It was very clean and comfortable. The swimming pools are very nice. The room did not have any where to hang your swim suits. We did the tour to Caracol mayan ruins. I enjoyed the nachos for lunch. Dinner was always an adventure. My husband order the Coconut shrimp... More

We visited Xunantunich in the morning then had lunch on the Cahal Pech Resort veranda overlooking the gorgeous valley of San Ignacio. The service, food, and view made the day even better. Afterwards we went to Cahal Pesh Mayan Ruin. Wonderful day showcasing Belize!

Great place and a great view. I stayed in a bungalow with my girlfriend after spending a few days on the ocean. This was a great place to get away from all the golf carts and just relax and take in the view. The pool was a perfect place to do so and I spent some time snoozing in the... More

The view is the best but it's the people like, Raphael, Dodi and Walter, who make this place a very pleasant and special place to stay. The restaurant has good food and is reasonably priced. This was our second stay and we look forward to visiting again. It is also right next door to the ruins of the same name... More

It is not cheap but it is comfortable and relaxing place to dine on nicely presented food and drinks while watching the sunset.

Loved the facility. Get the bungalow if you don't mind a few bugs or lizards - its worth it. Very nice pool and friendly staff. The price is right. heck - the only problem with the resort was the road leading to it. Drive carefully and enjoy.

Stopped by twice for lunch around the patio and pool areas. Service, although friendly was very slow and I would have to say the kitchen was operating very poorly when we were there. Some patrons had waited almost an hour for the meals, were visibly upset and in a few cases actually left before there meals arrived. Even the waiters... More

We didn’t stay at the resort but we ate at the restaurant 2 nights. The food for dinner was good and well priced. We ate there twice. There is a complete list of seemingly all possible flavors of daiquiri, margarita, etc and they were delicious. The view and setting is great.
