Amazing reasonably priced food! We shared chips & salsa - delicious and made fresh + the chicken burrito. Huuuge burrito bigger than either of our forearms! Wish I'd had my camera. Perfect for sharing and at only $12 BZD a steal. Salsa was either $6-8 BZD fairly large portion with great flavor. Staff was friendly.

The food at Meldy's is totally amazing & incredibly well-priced. Serving sizes are HUGE & this became lunch & breakfast the next day! Ask what the special is - when we were there it was whole fried snapper & it was UNREAL! Next goal is to come back here during lobster season.

We split the chicken (it's stewed, extra yum) burrito, cheesy fries & chocolate peanut butter milkshake. More than enough food for us two. The cheese sauce is ridiculous (homemade or not)! And the rum punch wasn't too sweet. I hope to be back!

This place is away from the main streets and relaxed. It's not big with a couple of tables outside and in but the service and food are realky good. We had veggie curry and kids had the most enormous burrito - we all enjoyed it and would defo recommend.

Getting tired of being hounded on Front Street by restaurant proprietors/staff. Really enjoyed a couple of meals here. Excellent prices for excellent food.

Meldy's is a tiny restaurant that's off the beaten path on Caye Caulker. We decided to check it out after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and weren't let down. We ordered their spicy wings and Sapotes (a fruit indigenous to Central and South America) which I both highly recommend!

This place is great. A nice cheap cup of coffee. The staff was very nice and made the coffees exactly how we liked/asked for every day. The food was tasty, and they give you some huge portions. But the price they charge is still low. Super friendly staff as well. We had a number of great conversations with the staff... More

I was lucky that Deb wasn't t going to order anything. The burrito hung over both sides of a big plate. It was very good and filled us both up for a cheap price.

If you're the type who enjoy's flavorful food and family style service this is the place to eat. It is located across the only bakery in Caye Caulker and not too far from the only bank on the island, Meldy's is the place for amazing meals at an affordable price. It's a small place, but even if it's a little crowded or if you're in a rush, ask about take out, the extensive menu includes seasonal lobster, fish, burgers and everything in between. Also, be sure to ask about Meldy's bacon wrapped baked chicken, it is nothing short of spectacular. So look out for the little pink and green building on middle street, tell them you came to see Meldy. If she's in, she might be able to fix you a customized menu based dish to suit your taste, just ask, this is your mom's kitchen away from home.
