Visited early August. Stayed at Matachica and ventured across to Rojos for lunch and drinks. Very casual (doin’ their thing) vibe - a fun contrast to the much more rigorously Run (and super nice) environment at Matachica. Things were quiet being low season. Had nachos...More

We were staying a few hundred feet from Rojo Lounge and went immediately after arriving and it was amazing. The food and atmosphere, activities and friendly staff was spot on. They have a pool with beds in it, overlooking the ocean, bags, dartboard, pool table,...More

Loved this beach bar! Great cocktails and the food is amazing but pricey! The atmosphere is awesome with an infinity pool looking out over the beautiful water! Worth a trip north!

My husband and I have been to San Pedro Island twice in the last 7 months and Rojo is one of our favorite spots on the island. The Caipirinha may be the national drink of Brazil but the Rojo bartenders give them a run for...More

Stopped here for a quick drink - and stayed when dark clouds and rain came in. Gorgeous setting even in the rain!

We took a walk from the place we were staying to visit the bar for supper. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and between the macaw and the wandering hermit crabs on the sand, we had lots of entertainment too.

We were actually on a tour with Seakarus - highly recommended. Cliff, from Seakarus, sent us to this bar for a winddown after a long day on the reef. This was a welcome spot - great bar with a great little pool, people playing cornhole,...More

We’ve had wonderful food and service everywhere we’ve been in San Pedro but this was horrible. The wait staff was inattentive; the bar tender was inexperienced; the kitchen was a joke. There was not one redeeming factor. Then when the owner came by he criticized...More

Very cool bar with hammocks and nice seating in the sand along the water. The sushi plate was good, as were the drinks. However, the drinks were Chicago prices (yikes) and they forgot to put our food order in I really like the sparkling wine...More

The Mai Tai's and the rum punch were amazing! However, dinner plus 3-4 drinks costs about $90 USD. I'd go back again for cocktails and eat somewhere else personally. Id recommend the tacos. They were just a little pricy.

No, the name says it all, it’s a beach bar. And I think once you experience the completely laid back and beautiful scene at Rojo, you’ll be happy to not have a bunch of jet skis zipping around off the dock. Rojo is about... More

Yo-ho Rojo! In our 13th season, Rojo Beach Bar & Lounge is still the casual kind of place a beach bar ought to be. 3 gorgeous acres and hundreds of feet of beachfront with great snorkeling so don't forget your bathing suits and masks! Food is ordered AT THE BEACH BAR or by the runner outside the bar (there are NO waitstaff). Reason being is we are small and we don't get too crowded...a plus for you! So, we prefer to under promise and over deliver! Dishes are served family style, one or two at a time, with the idea that they're going to be shared over frosty drinks and lively conversation. There are no "appetizers" or "mains" per se, just tasty food. Our staff is small and everything is made from scratch. Rarely, this translates into a bit of a wait. If you are waiting for food, we suggest you enjoy a cocktail. If you are waiting for a cocktail, we suggest you relax and enjoy the view! Pet the dogs. Play some games. DO NOT PET THE PARROT. Happy Hour DAILY from 3pm - 5pm!
