The hubby and I decided to eat lunch at Tamara's while spending the day in Apalach. We both had the fried grouper sandwich, which was very fresh. The portion was very large, so i think it was worth the money. We had the banana split for dessert - very good!

This place continues to get better and better even after over 10 years of coming here. Danny continues to knock it out of the park. It's the first place we stop when we get down here. The bisque, the founder....... ALL of the dishes! If you are within 30 miles, it is well worth the drive. You will Not be... More

Gotta try the lion fish it is an invasive fish that is depleting our local seafood, but the way they fix it is unbelievable. Eat Fish save the environment.

Great food and atmosphere on main street in downtown Apalach. Tapas bar next door is a good option for music and a lighter food option.

Tamara's has always been one of my favorites when in Appalachicola. Disappointed that menu now offers mostly appetizers, flat bread pizzas and high-carb items. Fried oysters only available as an appetizer. My favorite, the Fried Pork Loin, was only available as a special for the day. Guess real meals are not what people want these days. Oh, and service was... More

We return to Tamara's because of their awesome black beans. Silky, spicy, and tasty. This time we also had the chili dog, blackened chicken sandwich, and pork tacos. The pork tacos could have used more spice, but the rest of the food was tasty. The fries were HOT! Servers were prompt and helpful.

Friendly services and very tasty food. We had a very pleasant dinner here, it was warm enough to sit outside where we could hear the live music from a nearby bar without it being overwhelming. The restaurant was busy which illustrates the standard of the food here. I had a very nice Creole Pasta dish with seafood with clams, prawns... More

My husband & I stopped there passing through for breakfast. Not much to offer. Bacon 1/2 cooked & had a rancid taste. My husbands eggs ordered over-easy where hard cooked. Service not much better. Wished we had tried the Owl up the street. R&J from CA

Pros-beautiful historic building, romantic, best crab cakes I had while visiting the beach. Cons-waitress wasn't friendly or helpful, she made no recommendation or suggestions, never offered us any alcohol, not much to choose from on the menu, tomato/basil appetizer was awful!!!
