Met a friend for lunch and sat outside. The staff was courteous and friendly. Would definitely go there again!

It's my pleasure to write a review for Tamara's Restaurant. I work in Apalachicola and dine there every week. Their daily specials never disappoint and Chef Cat's creations always have a twist that makes the dishes exceptional. My taste buds water at the thought of trying specials at Tamara's. Their wine selections are top notch and hands down, have had... More

My husband had the short ribs, black beans and rice and his meal was absolutely fantastic - best black beans we have ever tried and of course the short ribs were perfection! I had grilled fish tacos - which were awesome! I highly recommend this place as the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get!

Tamara's is highly regarded among the locals and an outstanding experience for us visitors. After multiple recommendations, my wife & I sat in the window at Tamara's and ate wonderful fried oysters with good cold beer. I followed with paella that was full of fresh sea food, chicken, & sausage. It had just enough spice. I topped it all off... More

My kids and I had been here before, but this time we took my wife as well. The fried oysters and jalapeno sauce was excellent again.

We have been coming to Apalachicola/St. George Island for years now, and I have never been to Tamara's, but I always wanted to try it. Wow! I waited too long. Both of our meals were amazing! I had the "Tamara's Paella" - (shrimp, scallops, grouper, sausage, and chicken in a rice caccerola), and my husband had the "Grilled Herbed Marinated... More

We stopped in for a quick lunch and thought it was Mexican food. It is actually Venezuelan and amazing at that. We both had the black bean soup and crab cake quesadilla. It was different and fantastic!!! Please come here for a meal, you won't regret it at all!

There were not many choices open. Menu looked nice so we tried it. It was good just wish they offered more than 2 or 3 not fried seafood options. He enjoyed the peeled shrimp but heads on for weighing out your pound was not as much a meal as hoped. Chicken salad sandwich was nice. Key lime pie was the... More

We arrived shortly after they opened and had to wait for the restaurant to set up and determine their order of house offers. Waitress was very polite. I ordered Paella and my wife seafood. Both dinners were as offered but neither stood out in flavor...fish was overcooked...we will not go back.
