It's in a great location. The food was delicious and reasonable. Not only did we get great service, but the owner was very nice and down to earth. I would go to this place again. We do plan on returning.

This restaurant has been in Aspen as long as I remember. The food is good and you can eat in or out. People watching is fun from the outside tables.

Great food and service. Veggie burgers were excellent and the pulled pork sandwiches were excellent too. Only negative comment would be the music which was too loud and distracting.

I had a short trip to Aspen and used TA reviews to guide my restaurant choices. The Red Onion didn't disappoint. The staff was great and very helpful. The banana cream pie was excellent! For Aspen, the prices seemed reasonable. I'd go back.

We ordered a salad, French Onion soup and the chips and guacamole. It was a bit pricey for what we ordered but everything was very good. Its also a nice atmosphere to hang out on the patio.

Service and food was amazing. We had been to a couple places that seemed to have servers who hate the fact that tourist were visiting their establishment. Or had people that apparently hated the fact they were stuck in service industry. They would eventually warm...More

My husband, sister and her boyfriend stopped in here after taking the free bus from the Highlands area. We had hiked Crater Lake and were ready for some real food. This place was very unique, with a great history. Bathrooms are downstairs, so if that...More

Elk Bolognese is comforting and delicious. I dont think the pasta is fresh but it was cooked perfectly. The soft cheese on top added a creamy, cool accompaniment. At 23 bucks in this town you cant get much better without spending a lot more. We...More

I'm not sure if they have gluten free choices. You would need to check their menu.
