I am so sorry that this is impression that you were left with. As can be noticed by our many other reviews, this is not the case. We would not be in business if we only catered to locals. Tourists account for more than half...More

The food was super good and a decent price, considering we were in Aspen. Service and the patio atmosphere were both good.

Had a burger/fries and pulled pork/fries. About $16 each. With tax and tip, bill came to about $40. Salty. That was our reaction to both meals. Spiced fries didn't taste different than regular fries.

Male waitstaff poor, he walked away before my husband was done ordering. Seemed very distracted not engaged in serving us. I tipped12% (I rarely tip less than 15-20%) and felt that was being really generous.

We had good food at this friendly restaurant. Elk bolognaise was very nice and good portion size. Would recommend if looking for reasonably priced good quality food.,

Spring in Aspen is splendid and sitting outside, enjoying the gurgling brook and the Colorado sun is superb! My favorite dish is the beet and arugula salad with goat cheese and truffle oil.

I'm not sure if they have gluten free choices. You would need to check their menu.
