We had an amazing day x country skiing to this restaurant. The food was amazing , the service was great. It is a hidden treasure just outside of Aspen .

You can choose to take the sleigh or cross country ski to this restaurant in the valley. First try the hot apple cider. On arrival at the restaurant you walk into a beautiful log cabin and everything still feels like Christmas. Buffalo steaks seem to be popular for dinner. Food was great and prepared you for the ride home.

Pine Creek Cook House is a very unique place. In the winter, you have options on how you choose to get to the restaurant. You can Cross Country ski on trails, take a horse drawn sleigh or hoof it up the road. They serve lunch and dinner so that makes the experience quite different, depending on which you choose. The... Let me begin by saying that this is a very unique place. You have to snowshoe, cross country ski or take a horse drawn sleigh about a mile and a half to get to the restaurant down a snowy path. But once you're there, you're rewarded with delicious food and extremely warm owner and staff. We celebrated a lovely birthday... More

We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner took the sleigh this time. We usually go in the winter at lunch and ski in but decided to ride since there isn't much to see at night. The smoked trout is always a winner. We had the buffalo momos buffalo tenderloin salmon and strip steak all prepared well. Looking forward to hiking... More

Nothing in Aspen is inexpensive and this is a splurge. But it is well worth it. For about $220 per person (including tips and taxes for the standard selections of the four course meal plus one bottle of $95 wine for four people), you get a sleigh ride to and from the Cookhouse (about 1.5 miles) with the most amazing... Pine Creek Cookhouse isn't a meal, but an experience! It receives 4 stars because it's extremely expensive, had slow service at the start of the dinner, and it's supposed to be a 4 course meal, but they charge you for dessert! Also, I realized later, we never even received our salads. Just so you know! Other than that, it was... More

Save up your cash and get your butts back to this cookhouse! Pup friendly, kid friendly, stomach friendly! The mo-mos are a must, the bison tenderloin MELTS in your mouth, the trout appetizer screams Colorado happiness! I absolutely adore the place.

My wife and I were here for a special event, so I cannot speak to the regular menu, etc. However, our event was fantastic. The food was delicious (rainbow trout, chicken, etc.), the service was excellent, and they were very accommodating to our group. We enjoyed a concert while there, and it was just so fun and enjoyable. We have... More

Lovely food in the new building (not so new anymore) after old one burned. Good wine list and attentive service. Skiing home by moonlight with the coyotes howling was unforgettable. It's not cheap.

Thank James W
