Putting aside the fact it is overpriced since everything in Aspen is that way, let's just say the popularity of this place has nothing to do with the quality of food. Nothing was good. This is definitely a place where people go to be seen. Not worth all the hype it gets.

Have been dining here as a visitor for many years, Pat was no longer at the bar, but Alex was a great stand in. Food, as usual was outstanding. Should be your first stop in Aspen!

We had a long and leisurely family dinner on Christmas Day. The menu is inventive and the meal was extraordinary! I ahve had the pleasure of dining a a number of Nobu Restaurants - NewYork and London - this is by far my new favourite! Wonderful staff, attentive and very helpful! Looking forward to Christmas 2017!

I have been to the downstairs restaurant just once and it was excellent, but expensive. The best kept secret in Aspen is the upstairs sushi bar. No reservations are taken, but if you get there early you can easily get a seat. The menu is not extensive, but some of the favorites from the main restaurant are represented such as... More

This was a great restaurant with friends! I wasn't expecting to love this genre of food on our ski trip but would absolutely return! Delicious food and the wait staff was very kind and helpful with our selections. We could have easily ordered the entire menu it was so good.

If you visit, take your time and enjoy the experience. It's hard to get into, so make your reservations early. It truly is some of the best food you'll eat. I go to Matsu annually and love it every time. Asking the waiter what they recommend is a good decision. Be prepared for a very high bill.

We visit annually and always make sure to make a reservation at matsuhisa - service was great - our waitress was informative and had a ton of knowledge on the menu . Yes it's pricey but well worth the cost . Super decadent enjoyable meal .

We were in Aspen for a week, during the holiday season. We spent Chrstmas Eve at Matsuhisa with a table of 9 of our friends. All of us had the best night, excellent food, incredible wines, attentive service. Sure it is pricey but we created a beautiful Aspen memory that night! We are dreaming about returning this year. Be prepared... More

This place is a must do in Aspen (if you get a reservation in advance)! We come here every time we visit Aspen - it has been perfect every time. They are know for the Black Cod Miso and it is truly amazing. The fish is flaky and tender, caramelized in a sweet miso glaze. They also have the best... More

Matsuhisa Aspen is nestled beneath a quaint victorian house in the mountain town of Aspen Colorado and features the cuisine of world renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Japanese-inspired seafood and sushi, as well as an ultra-hip scene and lively bar crowd can best describe Matsuhisa Aspen. We are a continuation of Matsuhisa L.A., Nobu New York, Nobu London and may more locations around the world.
