The only difficulty with this restaurant is trying to get a reservation. OpenTable has seats but only very early or late in the evening. Call exactly 28 days in advance or you'll miss out on a fine dining experience. Well known for the black miso...More

Go early, it is packed after 7:00. You can’t go wrong with anything here, the rolls and sashimi are so fresh and perfectly prepared. These are true craftsmen. We will be back next year.

Even better than expected. The Black Cod Miso was cooked perfectly. The Salmon, Tuna and Unagi sushi was delicious and for desert the saved ice with passion fruit syrup and condensed milk was really good. Definitely a place not to miss in Aspen.

Again we returned here after a four year break having visited this restaurant many times in previous holidays to Aspen. It didn’t disappoint, great service, delicious food and a really busy, buzzing atmosphere.

Matsuhisa Aspen is nestled beneath a quaint victorian house in the mountain town of Aspen Colorado and features the cuisine of world renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Japanese-inspired seafood and sushi, as well as an ultra-hip scene and lively bar crowd can best describe Matsuhisa Aspen. We are a continuation of Matsuhisa L.A., Nobu New York, Nobu London and may more locations around the world.
