For a bakery that's been in business since 1976---this really speaks for itself! However, we stumbled on this bakery while enjoying the downtown area of Aspen on a warm summer afternoon! Such a wonderful treat!!!!!! We both enjoyed a double scoop of gelato with the added touch of a chocolate chip cookie on top!!!!! Thought we were back in Rome, Italy!!!!! We had visited a famous gelato shop there some years earlier and Paradise Bakery rivals the gelato shop in Rome! Abosolutely D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!!!!!!! Also, enjoyed a few of their mini cookies----soooo good and chewy! The next morning we had purchased a ticket to park down at Maroon Bells to watch the sunrise. We had shuttled to this area and hiked the day before. After spending a couple of hours at Maroon Bells, it was time to get back on the road. We decided we should stop at Paradise Bakery for treats one last time. We shared an abosolutely, perfectly-crafted bacon, egg and cheese croussaint! I've never eaten gelato or ice cream for breakfast, but on this day in July, I had a double scoop of the Fudge Brownie gelato! It was divine, AGAIN!!!!! Purchased a few cookies for the road! Wish there was a Paradise Bakery in our town! Wonderful staff and bakers! Thank you!

We had the cinnamon and the orange iced muffins and they were the best! You can tell these delights are loaded for good just by the weight as you depart the bakery. These muffins are covered and extend beyond what you might call a topper. Very difficult to consume all in one sitting. They are not cheap but worth every penny paid. So glad this bakery is not near our hometown!

I have purchased their cookies , muffins etc many times over the last 6 years and have never been disappointed. Most recent visit was in late January. I stopped in and bought several types of cookies for myself and grown daughter. We loved them all. It’s hard to get out of the shop without eating one. Service is good, friendly and efficient. My daughter lives in Aspen and I have given her gift certificates to the bakery. Their cookies are great! Paradise Bakery and Cafe is an Aspen institution! It’s catty corner to the information booth in middle of town. Great spot for a snack and a coffee or hot chocolate there is a small outdoor area.

Paradise Bakery lives up to its name, at least as far as its breakfast items go. Bagel sandwiches, quiches and some absolutely dynamite muffins are on display, and sizable enough to satisfy even the heartiest appetite. Eggs on the sandwiches taste powdered, but everything else makes for a scrumptious morning feed. The cinnamon apple muffin is wonderfully crumbly, while the bran muffin is deliciously moist and chewy. A good selection of teas complement the array of coffee drinks, the orange juice is fresh-squeezed, and the service is welcoming. All in all, a bright start.

We stopped by in the morning for some muffins and croissants to take on a hike, and they were delicious. The morning glory muffin was the family favorite, but all were delicious. We finished the day by coming back for and evening gelato which did not disappoint. I suspect it will be a frequent stop for us in Aspen.

We came here twice in one day, in the morning for a coffee, and later in the afternoon for some gelato. I loved the Raspberry chocolate mocha latte, wanted to go back another day to get it but they were closed for renovations (?). Their gelato was utterly amazing, I think we both tried 2 versions of their cookies & cream and they had real cookie pieces in all of them. I don't think I've ever had gelato so good!

Okay this place is honestly a piece of heaven! Omg… everything here was good! * carrot cake.. yum and so moist! * bran muffin: yum and more yum * oatmeal cookie.. soft, full of raisins, and taste amazing! *sugar cookie: was alittle hard, but still taste * hot chocolate: with whipped cream and marshmallows. Taste so yummy…went back the next day and got another. * hot apple cider:: my hubby said it was the bomb.com! All in all… this is a must have to start the day and a must to end the day. Drop in and eat alittle slice of heaven before hitting the slopes!

We stayed in Aspen for the weekend and visited this bakery/cookie shop 3 times. Each time I was so impressed by the display of gorgeous baked goods .... however........ I took a bite out of my oatmeal raisin cookie and found a 6 inch long dark brown hair. It totally put me off that store forever.

We came upon this bakery by accident on our first trip to Aspen which was a quick one day getaway. We were on our way back to our hotel and stopped to listen to amazing violin and cellist group playing in the courtyard just outside their door. We saw a lot of people there so we figured we’d check it out for breakfast on our way to the airport on the next morning. I am so glad that we did! They have convenient online ordering. We did that and then picked up our order with ease. They are so friendly, smooth and organized. We really treated ourselves because everything looked so good. We tried the almond croissant, cinnamon roll to share. Huge portions. Couldn’t make a dent in these. I also had a breakfast burrito. OMG it was so good! Truly the best that I have ever tasted in my life! Don’t miss this gem!!!!

So disappointed. In past years this place was a must for ice cream and cookies. This year was just not as good. Our ice cream was icy and the cookie wasn’t nearly as fresh. I’m sure this is a result of accommodations due to necessities for social distancing but the fact remains that it just wasn’t as good.

Only the best cookies you’ll find! I have been to this place several times over the last 2 years and they are always fresh and good! They also have muffins and small plates at lunch. I have been on snowshoe tours with guides and they had Paradise cookies at the halfway point or summit! Paradise is an institution in Aspen. Buy 3 get 1 bonus cookie! Staff is friendly and helpful.

With Starbucks closed until 8:30, we went to Paradise Bakery for coffee and a pastry. What a great decision! There was social distancing and only two allowed in at a time. The coffees were really good and the pastries were large and fresh.

Don't miss a stop at Paradise Bakery. I stopped by every morning of our vacation for a treat. Chocolate Croissant, Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin, Cinnamon muffin - all were very good. I wish I could eat here every day!

I had an ice cream and it was mediocre. It cannot be compared to a real Italian gelato. I also notice that they do not have a manual espresso machine but automatic one. I was disappointed because based on reviews, I expected amazing coffee and ice cream. I did not order coffee as I don’t like it from an automatic espresso machine. The ice cream was mediocre.

The best! Wasn’t sure why such a long line at 9am and 9pm but now I get it. I got pastries, cookies, brownies for the group and the caramel cookie crunch gelato. It was the best gelato I’ve had, including in Italy!
