We always stop by every year. Great place for a midday snack, light lunch or casual supper. Excellent food, great bartenders for a night cap also. Never know who also might be in there enjoying a pizza. Sir Elton John was finishing up a late...More

We stopped to have a late lunch. The tomato soup is excellent. We also had two different pasta dishes to share; tomato basil sauce with spaghetti and a mushroom pasta dish. Both were very good.

Small portions and expensive food, but for Aspen, this is as good as it gets. The pizzas are nice, and the wine list is extensive.

Disappointed in the meal, even though we had a 2 for 1, my chicken pasta meal was dry and tomato sauce was very thick and too thick. My husband was fine with his chippono but when we got the tab it was almost $90. Disappointed...More

Love Mezzaluna. Pasta, pizza, salads....great apps, this place is great for fun get togethers. It's close to everything and though parking in Aspen is usually tough, there are times of the year where it's not too bad. They have a nice wine selection too. If...More

We stopped in here on a whim on a recent trip to Aspen, and it was really good food. Had the pizza, giant calamari, and some of the pasta dishes and it did not disappoint!

Great restaurant centrally located. Very good everything.... pastas and pizzas alike! We went as a family but there were large tables of big groups of younger and older patrons. Reasonably priced.

Call them: 970.925.5882 Aspen is busy during the summer, so I'd bet yes, they'll be open.

Mezzaluna, meaning “half-moon” in Italian, is an independent, locally owned and operated restaurant serving modern Italian cuisine in Aspen. Our large Italian marble bar and our beautiful patio are key features of our restaurant, and our wood-burning pizza oven helps create an authentic atmosphere. We serve lunch, après ski and dinner, with daily food and wine specials. Aspen's favorite Italian for over twernty years and with Aspen's only wood-burning pizza oven. Fresh salads, tasty appetizers, pastas, fresh seafood daily and classic favorites like chicken marsala, veal piccata and pepper-seared beef tenderloin. Our horseshoe-shaped Italian marble bar is right in the center of the action. Our walls are adorned with over 100 pieces of original Italian art, and our patio is open for outdoor dining in the Fall, Spring and Summer.
