This elegantly appointed, small, galley style restaurant is well situated in the Little Nell Hotel at the base of Aspen Mountain. The clamor from the adjacent bar, including competing music, causes it to be fairly noisy. The waiters/waitresses and maitre'd are friendly. Try not to be seated by the door to the kitchen, (where we were seated), as the tight... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant on a recent ski trip to Snowmass. We stayed in the Snowmass Village. It was easy to get here using the free shuttle bus service from Snowmass Village to the Ruby Park Transit Center in downtown Aspen (about 30 to 40 minute ride because of multiple stops). It is just a short walk... More

We had dinner at Element 47 on a visit to Aspen last year and were blown away by our meal. The service, from start to finish, was impeccable, and the food was delicious. We ordered a tasting menu with wine pairings and the sommelier was excellent – he even took us down to the restaurant’s wine cellar at one point... More

I had very high expectations from Element 47. I had heard great things about Element 47 and I've been a fan of Little Nell since the '80s. And I used to love Montagna. Hearing that they were offering a discount for all of the wines on their Burgundy list really set the bar high! And as wonderful as the meal... More

There's really nothing bad to say about eating at Element 47. The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. The Sommelier was outstanding as well. The restaurant has a good noise level, and it is easy to carry on a conversation. The food was wonderful. The appetizers are a little large if you don't have a big appetite, unless you... More

Brilliant chic restaurant . The service is greater than I have ever experienced previously . The food was increadible . We did the chefs selection with matching wines and it was almost faultless . Be prepared to spend some money but the experience is worth it

My first time dined at Element 47 with my husband and family. The staffs were so helpful and knowledgeable of the food. I ordered the salmon and it turn out so delicious, my sister ordered the black ink squid pasta and she loves it so much. The lobster is also very good. I will definitely come back to have dinner... Great wine service, a delicious crab appetizer, good roast duck brought our hopes up. But dry fois gras mousse, too sweet squash soup, fried quail, jello like chocolate mousse and the $400 per person cost had us yearning for Bouley.

It's been called Aspen's "finest spot to wine, dine and unwind." The name element 47 pays tribute to silver, the precious metal that first put Aspen on the map, and to the finest silver service cuisine -for breakfast, lunch, apres and dinner, 7 days a week. Our team of culinary and wine professionals is one very good reason we have enjoyed the rare 5-Star, 5-Diamond ranking for so long. Whether you ski in for lunch, drop in at the bar for a more casual rendezvous, or join us for the most special of occasions, you'll be greeted with warmth, not formality. You'll find the ambience - ceiling-height glass cases with some of our rarest wines, art by Michelle Grabner, Cameron Martin, Angel Otero, Scott Reeder, Philip Vanderhyden, Jose Lerma - as fine as the dining.
