We used to travel through Antonito CO several times a year. I'ts a very small town known primarily as one end of the Cumbres and Toltec small gauge railroad. But on one occasion we found ourselves in need of breakfast so we stopped in this funky place next door to a local bar. We ordered the Huevos Rancheros and were... More

Cafe looks like typical small town cafe from the outside. Several cars parked out front so we stopped for lunch. Inside was clean and roomy, service was friendly and prompt. Had a great hamburger and fries. Fries looked homemade as they were not the skinny shriveled up kind. If you are in ANTONIO or driving through we recommend Dutch Mill... More

Ten of us were traveling through Antonito, on our way to Monte Vista, Colorado. On a tight timeline, but still wishing to support a locally owned business, we made a reservation for 10 for a lunch stop at the Dutch Mill Cafe. Wow! They were ready for us, with a table prepared. We were in and out within one hour,... More

This place serves up good food, and fast! Save room for dessert, because that is one of the reasons to go!

Not prepared for the additional business for out of town hunters. Food was fair for the price but service was slow. The first people to get their meals were done eating by the time the last one was finally served.

There aren't many reasons that you would likely be in this small community in southeastern Colorado...primarly among then is a trip on the Cumbres and Toltec narrow gauge railroad. Train riding in all that fresh air creates big appetites, and the Dutch Mill is a good place to satisfy them. There's a big selection of menu items to suit just... More

Hubby not a fan of Mexican food so we halved the club sandwich. They give us their chips and salsa. Best salsa I have ever eaten. Was really good then shared piece of homemade apple pie with ice cream. Going to try their breakfast in the morning.

Visited this restaurant for breakfast and not disappointed. Tried the American fabled steak and eggs. Came with small roasties and the plate was cleared. Plenty of friendly staff on hand to take orders, serve food and chat to you. Usual unlimited coffee - take a sip and someone topped it up within seconds.

The staff can get a bit overwhelmed then gave some attitude. Breakfast was good both mornings we ate there.
