Drive out to the end of the pier and enjoy a nice dinner in this classic local seafood spot. Right next door to the seafood market where you can select a fresh crab or buy smoked fish. Seasonal events occur under the pavilion alongside Olde Port Inn.

They have glass tables that allow yo to see the water below the pier. The food was really good. We got the seafood platter; it had various types of seafood. It is very big, so we shared and they are happy to split it onto two plates. Definitely recommend.

Fun place to relax, you can sit at glass tables and see the ocean below, you don't really see much down there but it is relaxing and enjoyable. Be sure to watch and listen for all the seals and walruses they are abundant and hilarious. Open all day Fri. Sat. Sun. and 4 pm weekends, the food is really good... More

This place did not change the look/location in years and that's why we all (locals & visitors alike ) love it. Great service, location (you feel like you are somewhere in a Greek village overlooking Mediterranean but diluted by the sounds of seals conversing loudly), beer/wine selection, enclosed terrace and tables with Windows looking into the bottom of the ocean.... Our reservation was honored on time. We had a window table, can also see ocean thru floor window. Our dinners were costly, good but not outstanding for the price. I think it is more of a tourist designations!

Though the view was fabulous, the food was average. Our waiter was extremely friendly. I wanted really good seafood (as we have had at the Sea Chest in Cambria), but was a little disappointed. The crab and prawn salad was so-so but was large enough to split. Not sure I would come back. It was nice to go once.

There's been some confusion about which Avila pier is closed. Since the Old Port Inn is at the end of 1 of the Avila piers (there are 3) I was concerned that I'd have to pass on my birthday steamed clams...thank goodness the old pier (the one on the north end of town) is still open so my birthday dinner... The fish & chips were delicious and the crab salad was soooo fresh!! Overall our visit was nice. The views are great!! It was a little warm inside, but not too bad. Not sure how it would be on a hot day.

My husband and I camped at the beach and wandered down to the wharf in search of a good meal. The spinach and cheese ravioli was the best I've ever eaten. The sauce was divine and the ravioli melted in my mouth. My husband loved his seafood pasta too.
