Mr Ning's offers the best and the greatest Chinese cuisine ever. The atmosphere at Ning's is always a very pleasant one..my very special server Jonnne is always pleasant, courteous, and very helpful..she makes my visit at Ning's a most pleasurable experience. I love the jumbo fried shrimp with the ketchup and hot mustard and the chicken chop suey..and the egg... More

This was quite possibly the best Chinese food I have ever had. Hot, fresh, huge plate and cheap. I had the almond chicken lunch special for $7.25. Judging by the way the hostress greeted everyone with familiarity, it's a local favorite.

I went there on a Sunday and had a nice meal. Order from the lunch menu (for lunch) or off the menu later in the day. It's a nice break from cheeseburgers and other vacation type foods.

Discovered this place on the Taste of Catalina Food tour. Went back the next day for lunch! Amazing green beans and pork!

Food is almost always very good and the staff is awesome! The combination dinners are a good value since most of Avalon is over priced.

The lunch specials were reasonably priced and very tasty. One of us had the Chinese Chicken Salad instead of the special and was thrilled to be eating something light and vinegary, instead of heavy. The staff are lovely.

We ate here for our anniversary here years ago . The food is good and the staff is awesome. It was fun to eat there again. The sad thing is we heard the lease will not be renewed. So sad!!

When we first ate here 20 or so years ago, the first impression was, "damned good Chinese for being on the Island". As it quickly became a regular stop, (we come to Avalon 3 or 4 times a year) we changed our opinion to, "damned good food, even compared to our favorites in Los Angeles. We especially like the garlic... More

Food was good but not best Chinese. The friend rice was very good. Lunch choices are limited. No sweet and sour chicken on lunch menu. I had beef and broccoli which was overall good just a little greasy.

We stayed at the Atwater hotel and it was just next door, loved the ambience and service. The food is great and you can get some Chinese beer too. Not much seafood choices except shrimp, but they do it well. The egg flower soup & chicken corn soup are so refreshing. Must visit place if you like Chinese.
