We visited the Lobster Trap for lunch and ordered the lobster rolls and some lobster tacos. The lobster meat was great and fresh, roll could have been better. The coleslaw was not great, french fries were yummy. The restaurant has a large menu and many patrons were ordering a whole lobster which was nicely cut for easy eating. There were... More

Had a whole lobster for my birthday - what a treat! They were very sweet about helping me cut it up a little smaller. Lots of locals! Hubby had halibut that was delicious and a huge piece cooked just perfect! Can't go wrong!

The Lobster trap is a casual dine, great for lunch to hang out and eat great food with friends and family. Highly recommend fitting this into your visit to Catalina.

We had dinner here one night and really enjoyed it. It was a fun spot to stop and eat. We actually sat up top where they have part of a boat with 3 tables. The bar looked fun!

The restaurant was disappointing after having read the reviews. The food was mediocre and the service slow. A bit of a tourist trap.

The fish is every bit as good as one should expect in a harbor town! Reasonable prices and very cool nautical decor.

Very busy place, friendly atmosphere, good food. Not on the main drag but close by. I had clam chowder in a bread bowl, which was delicious.

Went for my birthday and had the Maine lobster. Delicious! Hubby had the crusted Halibut that melted in your mouth

We really enjoyed the Lobsters Trap. The feeling is that of a locals favorite eatery. The staff was great, the food was awesome, and the prices fair. Recommend the breakfast shot, it comes wth bacon and orange juice. Best ever!

We only stopped in for a drink and small bites. However, we learned that it is the place to go for lobster in Avalon, both Maine and Catalina lobster. However, Catalina lobster was not available. A nice informal restaurant, enjoyable.
