This is an interesting place to eat dinner. It's small and I believe it's only open 4 nights a week Thursday thru Sunday. They have 3 seatings: 5:00, 6:30, & 8:00. The 6:30 and 8:00 seatings book well in advance. However the 5:00 seatings are pretty easy to get and you might not even need a reservation if you are... More

I visited Old Place this past weekend with a small group of friends and we had a riotously good time. We ate and drank to the brim, enjoyed a lively good time with the musicians and fellow patrons and were even so lucky as to spend some time with Chef Nick. This was easily one of my favorite meals I've... More

What a remarkable place - you do go back in time. Menu very limited but the food is first class and you need to book as the place was very busy - always a good sign. Staff friendly and helpful. Will certainly be returning

We were in the area, and a group of us went for Breakfast. We were told that the eggs and bacon were great. Pancakes were also great. And the Fritatas. With our group of 8, we had a lot of the items on the menu represented. And an order of pancakes as well. I had the eggs scrambled and bacon... More

This is no chain, has no pre-fab foods, and is not a "scene". It is quite simply excellent food, perfect kick back ambiance, and exactly the place you'll want to be. Ever since my first visit, it has been my absolute favorite place to go. My advice to anyone coming is to save room for dessert because the cobbler should... More

Don't forget to make reservations! We also reserved the "Post Office" room in the back for a Mother's Day brunch -- used to be an old Pony Express stop! Come hungry. Brunch is incredible -- order the cinnamon rolls! We also love the biscuits and gravy.

The old place isn't a restaurant, its an icon. Steamed clams, steak, chicken pot pie, Nick keeps on serving up the best food for miles around. The old wooden 'saloon' building dates back to the era of the movie stars and today you are just as likely to rub shoulders with Kim Basinger next to your next door neighbour. ******... More

Four of us went for Saturday brunch, having booked about 2 weeks in advance. Our table was ready (not always the case around these parts) and the hostess was genuinely welcoming and professional. Two of us had the steak sandwich with wedges (those wedges were very crispy and tasty), the third had eggs and bacon with sourdough toast, and I... More

Lots of not the best food, but it's more of a unique experience. Make sure to stop by the wine tasting venue next door, and be sure to make a reservation!

Funky old place in a country setting adjacent to a wine bar serving a variety of interesting , delicious, special breakfasts and dinners. Not your typical menu. Cowboy ambience. Good, friendly service where they treat you like locals. Not cheap but not too expensive. Well worth the price for the food and the experience.
