Very good brunch- a lot of food for the price! Jazz was nice, but pretty loud if you are sitting near the hostess stand.

I suppose most people go there once because it is near the convention center, and I also suppose not many return. Why would they? Though the service is friendly and quick, the food is not worth eating. Overdone fish, corn cakes with the texture of mush, collard greens that saw their best days a week ago or more.
Had dinner with coworkers and it was a very pleasant surprise! Great atmosphere throughout the restaurant, was a little loud if you're looking for quiet. The Fried Green Tomatoes as an app were great! Gumbo was really good as well as the Duck! Service was exceptional and very attentive! Definitely recommend!
It was later in the evening so we sat at the bar and munched on a few shareable appetizers. We did have the oysters but honestly they weren't anything special, and the horseradish had no kick.
Solo dining but I sampled a fair number of dishes. Small led chicken/ andouille gumbo had rice added at the table so if wasn't glooey. Good flavor but heavily salted. We ate at Acadiana during the inaugural festivities & was very good. I felt they could have stayed open later because of the inaugural festivities. The food is consistently good. Deviled eggs are the best.
I have to admit, I'm a bit partial to New Orleans....we have family that live there and we travel there quite a bit. With that being said, we know a bit about Cajun / Creole food. After reading the countless positive reviews, we decided to give Acadiana a shot. The ambiance of the restaurant is great, and it's in an... More
