Entertained clients here and was very much impressed (and, more importantly, so were the clients). The had a varied seafood menu and all of the dishes we ordered excelled!

This was the latest of perhaps six or seven visits to BlackSalt since its opening. We were seated in the back, well away from noisier bar area. Food -- from oysters to sashimi and grilled calamari appetizers and whole branzino entree -- was well prepared;...More

There were three of us celebrating a birthday. We had a starter each, entree and a shared dessert -- just the right amount of food. The flavours were intense and fresh. There was no leftover Low Country Seafood Stew. The crabcake was saved for home....More

In the past this was one of my go-to places for excellent fried clams. This time they were very greasy. Won't take another chance. Service was only moderately good.

Exquisite menu. Fish was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. Service was excellent; not overbearing but attentive and knowledgeable. Simply wonderful.

We had flounder the last time we ate. It was vey fresh and very tasting. We have been here several times, the service is also very good. In addition, we love the market, which offers a good variety of products.

Excellent dinner. Sardines were wonderful - probably the best part of the meal. Clam chowder was good, but not the best I've ever had.
