My wife and I had a family dinner here the night before our daughter's wedding. All the food was excellent. We came for the mussels and they were great, as was everything we ordered. Service was polite, welcoming and professional. Good selection of beers and wines.

I went here with family before seeing a show at Ford's Theater and it was fabulous. The service was quick, efficient and delicious!

When my wife and I walked into this restaurant it was like being transported to Brussels. The dark wood paneling and high booth partitions were very authentic. My wife's onion bisque was comparable to anything I had tasted in Brussels. My Brussels sprouts appetizer was spectacular. I departed from Belgian tradition by ordering my mussels in the Thai curry sauce.... More

Brasserie Beck is a beautifully designed restaurant reminding visitors of an old time restaurant. Our evening was wonderful with two sons, their wives and three grandchildren. Full bar and extensive wine list. Nice menu with something for everyone. Some highlights from our evening: beef marrow bones with jelly, parsley and shallots; deliciously prepared mussels in a choice of different sauces,... More

We were meeting my boss and his wife here for dinner. It was a recommendation from a friend who visits DC often. When we arrived, the only table available to us was near the bar and the door. We let the staff know we may have to leave as my boss would not be happy at all. We were waiting... More

I am not sure why Brasserie Beck is considered such an attractive place. At least the food I had was nothing special, but somewhat pricey. The beer, however, was very good, and the service was truly excellent.

The food is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is OK, a little loud. We had the steak and the chicken and both were perfectly prepared. We did not order desert but it looked amazing as we were leaving (save room). The service was underwhelming and they were very slow. I will give the place another try, because the food... More

My first visit was in June and it was quite good. The upscale attractive French bistro setting is charming. The food, in June, was quite good. However i returned and had a rather dreadful experience. My salmon was served but it was raw- I mean cool and raw in the center. My friend ordered a turkey sandwich and he said... More

I was there with my family and friends last Friday. it was disappointed from the first minute while waiting for the table although we had a reservation. Like the previous time, again we were tried to be sit at the edge of the door. After we asked to have another table we got a better table. Service was OK, but... More

We arrived at the restaurant received poorly and exited poorly. Three men standing while my wife was waiting for someone taking her coat, all looking and waiting....service people, service! The food was good, but poorly served or at least I do not expect the various sauces to be in a dish served on top of the fries, not in many... More
