The "crispy spinach" was a very nice appertizer dish, and is highly recommended. The main dishes didn't seem overly authentic and were more "mass produced" / supermarket quality. This also applied to the papadums which were more novelty than authentic. Service was good, water continually...More

This is our third visit to Rasika; unfortunately, this time was a huge letdown. The appetizers were very good but a bit oily. The mango lassi was outstanding. Unfortunately the rest of the meal was way off the mark. The bhindi was not married well...More

I ordered Chicken Biriani and I was initially impressed by the different serving when the waiter cut through a bread casing with the explanation that it allowed the flavors to concentrate. However the dish was too salty and the rice was annihilated. I cook basmati...More

I travel to DC for work once or twice a year, and I always make a trip to Rasika. The restaurant environment is lovely--sophisticated, not "typical" Indian restaurant decor. The menu has so much amazing variety. I typically sit in the bar area if I'm...More

I love Indian food, but this lunch was so beyond Indian. Our lunch was interesting and some of the most amazing flavor blends I have ever experienced. The Palak Chaat was to die for and I could eat it endlessly. I ordered the Red Snapper...More

Keep wanting to show new friends this place, which is becoming a regular, albeit not-too-frequent experience, because if is consistently a high performer, and our last visit lived up to that expectation. Have to start with the crispy spinach, which continues to be awesome, and...More

The first two times we were there, food was delicious and the service gracious. This time, food was good and service more businesslike. Four of us ordered seven dishes and bread. Two dishes came and we ate them. Then five appeared together, crowded on the...More
