Friend and I chose the $24.50 lunch special—an excellent deal. Our waiter talked us out of the salmon entree and steered us toward the fried chicken breast, which we loved. Moist (due to the initial sous vide) and not greasy (due to a short fry...More

Popular and crowded, we were able to get a quieter back table. The food quality was very good as was the service. It seems to be better set up for couples and with a food service long bar, singles. We did have to wait, drinking...More

We had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes, burger, and chocolate bar for dessert. All were excellent and the mashed potatoes were the best!

Situated v centrally- Service was good. Whilst the Resturant calls itself French- there are a few French dishes on the menu (with an American twist) however you will also find burgers and spaghetti bolognese- so not entirely French- nice enough food though..

My first time during Restaurant Week February 2017. I ordered the famous fried chicken which was delicious. Also had a superb wine that I am still buying for home consumption: Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis 2015.

We had a great lunch at Central last Friday. The onion soup was comparable to my favorites in Paris, but tasted lighter. The waiter explained that the chef uses miso as base. The goat cheese salad was a work of art with chèvre rolled into...More

I’ve been to Central a few times, and lately the service has kind of dropped off. For what you get, this is an expensive lunch or dinner, and it mainly caters to tourists and business lunch people. This is more American fare than any type...More
