This is the third time we have come to this cafe during Thanksgiving weekend. The previous times there were more choices and shorter lines. Clearly they did not have enough kitchen help. It took me 5 minutes to get a fork!(They had to get them...More

Mitsitam Cafe offers foods inspired by different Native American regions. I had a delicious buffalo burger.

For a famous cafe that is the best on the mall, I found this severely lacking. The burger was not fresh, bread was soggy, prices are very high for what you get. Tried desert, it too tasted stale and crumbly .Service was virtually nonexistent. Much...More

You'll find unique foods here that are rarely offered elsewhere. This time, I really didn't see much that I was "dying to try" so I settled for a simple fruit pastry and an Aztec Hot Chocolate. The pasty was just sweet enough but nothing special....More

Cafe-style (you carry a tray and get food from different stations and then go sit in a dining room with long wood tables) but delicious food! One chooses food from different geographical areas (Northwest, southwest, etc.). It seems pricey but when you consider the high...More

I've heard that with staff changes the restaurant has gone downhill. Well, they don't have a wide a variety of foods as when they first opened. But I found the food still quite good. I had a bison burger one day and a chicken burrito...More

I decided to have the fry bread. We used to go to a fry bread restaurant in Mesa AZ run by some Navajos. It was great. And when going to the Grand Canyon we would stop at the Cameron Trading Post to have some. But...More

This is a cafeteria with class, several stations with food choices consistent with/inspired by american indian traditons. Bison burgers, northwestern salmon, terrapin soup...it's not cheap (what is in a museum?) but the quality is good.

The style is kind of mix and match. The Northern Woodlands is the best bet for the picky kid, but you may want to mention burger and fries and not necessarily that it's bison. There is also turkey dinner that if the child... More
