So this is from my visit two years ago, but was reminded, and thought I better get in my review! I was visiting my son, and we came across this place while walking. The half price for any bottle of wine caught my eye, and we entered. Lovely ambiance-from the crisp tablecloths to the knowledgeable wait staff. I had the... More

My daughter and I went for an early dinner on Friday night. We were seated promptly and given menus right away. Our waiter was attentive and brought us each a glass of wine and water. We studied the menu and ordered a house salad to share. The salad was plentiful and fresh but all iceberg lettuce. My daughter ordered penne... More

Our first visit here, but hopefully not our last. It was truly outstanding. The rooms are cozy, but there are several, so you don't feel crowded. Simeon was an excellent server. We started with a simple salad and the huge antipasto. We all had different homemade pasta dishes--linguine with clams, primivera and a special agnalotti. We really couldn't enjoy dessert,... More

After a week in D.C. we had dinner at Trattoria Alberto. We were in the last hour of service and the place was nearly empty. My girlfriend and I each ordered a cocktail. She had a appletini and I had a great gin martini from their cocktail list. The bread was something to be desired. I ordered the chicken cacciatore... More

This was a very good restaurant . The service was good and the waiter was polite and helpful. We had chicken with Marsala and another chicken dish. Both meals were of good quality and tasted great lovely flavours. The Merlot was smooth and of generous proportions. The price was reasonable for the food served. We enjoyed our meals very much... I've taken the husband and my staff here many times over the years, and every time it is fantastic! I think the people complaining about fresh pasta don't know what fresh pasta tastes like - its not your Cisco crap from TGIF's. This is the real deal - and I make my own pasta at home every once and awhile.... More

The interior of the restaurant is quaint and well appointed, and while not particularly large the restaurant uses the combination of the patio and the interior very smartly. Our server was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and even when we opted to just stay for drinks he was very polite. Looking forward to come back for drinks and dinner on the... More

We visited this restaurant because of good reviews on trip advisor. We arrived early on a hot summers evening we decided to eat inside. It was very old and dated. The food was very very expensive for a moderate Italian restaurant, charging ridiculous prices for Pasta dishes. Probably one of the most disappointing meals of a months visit to the... More

A traditional Italian (American Italian?) restaurant on several floors. Our waitress was friendly and attentive; the food tasty and authentic, the setting picturesque and sweet. V enjoyable - delicious canola!
