By the time you are served dessert, your palate has been teased and tasted luxuriously wonderful food combinations that are very honest with the foreward tasting of the ingredients. Simply yum.

I have to rate this as one of the best - if not THE best - meal I've ever had. Well balanced dishes with wine pairing, and an exceptional floor staff that walks you through each course. I can't wait to return!

Visiting Komi once again, always wonderful, still my favorite spot. It used to be the top of DC dining, now with many other options and Komi not renewing there is more competition at the high end. But the classics at Komi are still rare treats, even after six or seven visits over the years and other great dinners elsewhere in... More

Wow, spectacular food and wine pairing with incredible and unique flavors. The atmosphere was quaint and quiet when we were there which was early and very romantic with an extremely attentive wait staff. The best part was the food and wine pairing which was spectacular.Well worth the money as it will be a memorable meal for a lifetime. We loved... More

There is no menu. You are served a series of small plates of creative and elegantly prepared food. There is a Greek background, but none of the dishes are the traditional classics. So maybe you could call this nouvelle Greek cuisine. There is an outstanding collection of wine available to accompany the meal. One of our party was gluten intolerant,... More

Father-in-law had a big birthday and we knew exactly where we wanted to take them on their trip in from out-of-town. However for the first time in four visits, we were disappointed. The finale was superb as usual — the goat had an amazing sear on it and was perfectly balanced with the tzatziki and the hyper spicy/delicious spicy accompaniment,... More

I have been going to restaurants in DC over the past 20+ years when I am in town, which is 3-4 times a year, and have found THE gem. Komi is best experienced through their tasting menu where each dish surpasses the previous one. My sister treated me to dinner here two nights ago and we are still talking about... More

Komi is a very expensive splurge that lived up to its hype. The menu consists of the server asking if there were any allergies, likes or dislikes. From there the food was tailored to each guest at the table. The essence of a tasting menu is for the kitchen to show off its skill. The Komi kitchen was dazzling the... More

I was surprised at my experience at Komi, because I have always heard such grand things about it. I did have high expectations, based on what I was told. But it was very average to me. The service first off, seemed far too pretentious. I have been to many fine dining establishments, and am very open minded. But our waiter... More

Fabulous, innovative, friendly. A treat. Great wait staff, amazing dishes. Sommelier is adorable/an educator. Every "bite" is like a birthday present.
