Nice place, small pub near Washington Convention Center. Great Guinness and food was OK too. Had a salad and homemade chips. Very good and filling. Reasonable price. Would return

Colleagues and I ate here one evening after a conference at the D.C. Convention Center. Is very short walk from the convention center, which is a real attraction if one is on foot. Fish and Chips was fine, a member of our group had Shepherd's Pie which was also good.

Ambience is still great here, and they have a good beer selection. Unfortunately they have changed the menu and it is no longer traditional pub food. Pricey, pretentious, smaller portions, not what you would expect from a typical pub offering.

Food and service was good on first visit, came back two days later when it was packed with ice hockey fans. Fish and chips were great. Batter was light and crispy and tartar sauce was tangy. Atmosphere was jovial. Although packed, the service was quick and friendly.

Wandered around looking for a place to eat before a concert, decided on Fadó and boy did we find a gem! The drinks are amazing, I got the Moscow mule and my brother got their whiskey sour and both were strong and delicious! The food...let me tell you, AMAZING!!! First of all, I couldn't believe how quickly our food came... More

Called in during happy hour and with their local ice hockey team playing across the road. Service was great and quick. Great deals during Happy Hour.

Boy, were we lucky. Stuck in Chinatown and in need of pint of Guinness. Good thing we looked back. Good service and good crowd. Nice atmosphere. What else do you need for an Irish bar!

We decided to stop in for a few drinks and had a great time! Our server was awesome and the drinks were too! Next time we visit DC we plan to stop here.

The beer menu is extensive. The wait staff attentive and good pub food. But the real draw is the ambiance. The "snug" in the back by the fire puts you right into Dingle. Very enjoyable especially on a cold wet night.

We've been to Dublin and most Irish bars, outside of Ireland, are nothing like the real thing which is obvious I suppose but the atmosphere in Fados reminded us of our time in Dublin. It was busy and the food was nice, they even pored the Guinness the way it should be too!

Thank Hannah A
